I have one of the original 4" Anaconda's from 1992 that looks remarkably the same except for the Porting...at one time I had Hogue Grips on it like those on the Kodiak.
Gotta give us and accuracy report.

Colt makes such a beautiful gun. Is the Kodiak the same as the Anaconda but with an unfluted cylinder?

Nice. I've always liked how they cut those long smooth grooves in the cylinder stop notches. I have no idea if this effects anything in terms of DA trigger pull, probably not, but it does look pretty.

They're pretty much exactly the same gun except for the unfluted cylinder and factory porting on the Kodiak. Less muzzle rise, more muzzle blast.

With all the extra weight of that barrel and the porting to boot I’ll bet it shoots.44 mags as smooth as butta, with the felt recoil of a 38+P
