I was all set to go down that same rabbit hole - even said so in a previous post - until I blew up the pic and found it for myself . But those yellow and red pixels couldn't hide from my 1080Ti and a decent monitor. love that card

Supposedly parents are claiming they knew shooter used to have a gun but they told her to sell it and didn't trust her with one. Thought her medical condition (read emotional problems such that she required medical care) disqualified her from owning guns.
This is from this Daily Beast article, so has to be taken with a grain of salt. Was linked from Breitbart, which is running the same details.

If these details are true, that the parents thought she was or should have been disqualified have a gun, that would be a very clear indicator that the shooter was quite unstable and likely on some strong meds.
If so, that begs the question: how did she pass a NICS and a 4473?
If the shooter was seeing a shrink because she was sad her dog died and her boyfriend broke up with her, then that would almost certainly not have been a reason for a NICS denial.
If she was seeing shrink because she was dangerously depressed and suicidal, homicidal, etc., the shrink or whatever absolutely had a duty to report if there was a hint that she was going to act on her "feelings."
The manifesto, other writings, her medical condition, all of that is pertinent, and must be released as the investigation runs its course. The perp is dead, so there is nothing stopping the cops from releasing this other than nailing down the details for their reports and making extra sure no one else was involved or had prior knowledge but kept quiet about it.
If the powers that be try to bury this, I hope someone leaks it all.
