It's real cool to talk and say some are bending over but you'll recertify one way or another. Whether it's a year from now or after the final notice. I'm sure of it unless you move.
Only a fool would give up their right to self defense for something they already have registered. You are no fool.

I just got the letter. Perfect timing... in a year from today I will be sending
the printed form in 3' box filled with Styrofoam bits and wrapped with 3 rolls of duck tape to
make sure it doesn't get damaged.

It's hard for me to knock you out though. No need to. Darth already got knocked out.
The bicycle helmet is a hindrance, and I don't like hitting retarded people.
It really is like playing chess with a pigeon.
As fur 5/5 non compliance, I'd applaud that, not future a hissy fit because I didn't have the balls to.
Wait are you saying if you play Will in chess he will knock over all the prices and shit on the board? This a revelatio!

Well, I'm sure to be Willjr'd on this but...tag team boxing with @Darth is alive! Tis about my point about this whole thing being a clusterfuck and most likely changed or pulled off the table are proven (at least, to me)by number 33...
"33) After January 31, 2018 the law states that the failure to recertify is an automatic revocation. Likely it will fall to the licensing officer to actually revoke the permit."
And in my gun loving 2a officials County, that ain't happening LOL. It also proves to me that this is a joke of a hope of a system when one "Law" to revoke is then handed down to a county official and there's oooooo what..1000's of different ones in New York and each with their own unique feeling and view on this subject!? Hahaha. So yes, you people in the shittyass 2a hating Counties will be fucked, I truly feel for you, and the others with no expiration and gun loving towns will not be..but by that time this will be under Astorino and in the Executive order/Veto fire..

I Willjr you so that you can see the big picture. Do you really think the county is going to ignore the state? If you do, that's naivety in it's highest form.
Let me ask you this. For arguments sake, suppose you somehow got wind of a SHTF event, a revolution, or perhaps a genie told you that some time over the next 2 years you will be beaten to death and the only thing that can save you is a concealed handgun, would you still go about doing this symbolic protest?
That's what I'm trying to get through to you. They don't know what rifles you have but they do know about your pistols.
To jeopardize your safety and also lower your survivability level for a symbolic protest is just plain stupid.
You want to protest. Go to PA and load up on 30 rounders and ammo. Build AR pistols and don't register them. Prepare yourself for a situation that may arise where you will have the tools that you'll need for that situation that they DON'T want you to have.
Don't declare yourself and walk willingly into an oven. That's not how battles are fought. Be smart.

I question if the time comes where one day I might have to don my gear if I may want to stand beside some members here that cannot make rational decisions that concern their survivability.Into the oven I go
I mean this as no disrespect but I wouldn't want to stand by someone who is going to yell out and compromise the whole team during an ambush when we are outnumbered or are doing recon missions and yell out or fight because they are angry.
Hot Heads have no place in combat.

You can buy glock and 1911 80% receivers all day. Just saying....

Correct. And with no pistol permit, the day you use them while CCWing, you are out of the fight and captured by the enemy.
I can do that too and not get captured.
