Wait until one of them or their relatives are harmed during a robbery. Then see what changes if anything.

The changes will happen. More restrictions and controls for the law abiding.
They saw it coming, this was all the intended results. The people who currently run the state are perp lovers. All of this was designed to benefit perps.

Then they can pass more gun control laws in us because what we have isn’t working.

They don't love the perps. They just use them.
You can't grab power as easily from the electorate if they are content. You need to create problems so that you can deliver "solutions".
You overestimate the brains of some of these people. There are parts of the boros that literally send perps to Albany. Like real ones, before their political careers started. I agree that some of them are working on political expediency but bot all.

You are correct about the low and mid level "true believers".
Earlier generations had a more apropos term, "useful idiots".
The ones in charge on the other hand don't care about anyone or anything except for power.
AOC really does believe global warming is an existential threat. Hillary and FUAC just think it's the best boogeyman to threaten the masses with.
They are right. It's neverending, you can claim virtually *anything* is supporting evidence, and the "solution" involves massive government power grabs and and massive wealth transfers.

From the article...
"Barry’s served several stints in state prison and has a lengthy record, including six felonies, 87 misdemeanors and 21 missed court hearings, the newspaper reported, citing court records."
How does one even accomplish that? - This guy is really good at breaking the law.
I suck at breaking the law... Facepalm... I'm going to have to try harder.
In the last 30 years, I have only got 2 traffic tickets.
Both were for an expired inspection sticker...
Although, I did get pulled over once for running a stop sign "rolling stop."
But dang it... I was polite and courteous to the deputy and had all of my valid documents in order.
So I only got a warning... I've got some work to do... Barry is good, he's got this criminal thing perfected.
