Anyone else hear about this bullshit being rammed through legislation?

On another note ..... didn't CUMo ban the guns that shoot this ammo?

I'm getting more and more ready for the end of this crap.

Exactly, thankfully most people choose to ignore the oppressive laws in this state, even if it makes purchases harder.

I've believed the next ban attempt would be to ban specific ammo calibers.

Not because it would actually fix or prevent anything, but because our politicians are morons, and want to make it difficult for gun owners and they are not going to stop trying to disarm and discorage us. Then they can say to their idiot sheep voters look what we did. NY is safer now. They will completely ignore the fact that people will reload, drive out of state for ammo and manufacturers will come out with new calibers that are not banned.

The only info I can find on this is from a long time ago when they tried to limit ammo purchases of certain types of ammo to 20 rounds every 90 days. It didn't fly. The only thing I can find is stuff on the recent package of bills that were stopped in the senate. I wouldn't sweat this too much anyway as it would affect a lot of non-"assault" type rifles. It would likely be struck down much like the 7 round bs. IMHO, The 2nd circuit is anti gun but not to that extent. otherwise they would have upheld the 7 round mag limit.

If you ban specific ammo, you effectively disarm the whole state. And when you disarm a whole people...

I think banning ammo is their next play .

They will say us peasants can't be entrusted with ammo that can harm the children so it has to be banned. And then when people protest they will claim it's common sense reform and no one is taking guns away.

Common sense car reform I guess is next. Is it legal to stockpile gas?

These appear to be duplicate bills, one in the senate one in the assembly. They did try this before, in fact I think they try this every session and it has always died in committee. Not that that should dismiss any concern. They will keep trying.
