New York State is done for; it's only going to get worse and worse, even more corrupt, more and more turd-worldish, and more and more of a frickin shithole. The fact that NYC elected an American-hating commie proves my point. IMO.

I think there's going to come a point where people here in NY who have a legitimate reason to stay here, like myself. Will be left with no other alternative but to bug out at some point.

If New York isn't already a failed state, it will be soon enough. The New York government loves its criminals, both the homegrown ones but particulary the illegal turd-world ones.
I don't have an answer; it is what it is.

This is accurate. If Blakemen gets elected it will slow things down but the left will prevent him from anything significant and screw him. He won’t last long or be able to do much.

He will have my vote though. My brother is moving to Florida and my sister wants to go as well. Of that happens I’m sure my parents will go. I will not go to Florida and I hate it. I just told my oldest plan to move out of NYS after you get your masters degree because nothing good will come of this state. He’s planning Tennessee. I would follow him there. I could get my same job there, but it’s much less pay and not as good of benefits. I’d have to do the math to see if it’s worth it, but it’s not. I’d give up my pension in Tennessee as well. I can work remotely as well for about my same pay, but lose benefits and my pension.

He made a bold statement. If he wins, I think it's a promise that he won't be able to deliver on, and people will hate him for it. Don't get me wrong, I want him to win, I just think cutting utility bills in half won't happen no matter who the governor is.

Well, the Governor does appoint the PSC that determines the Utility rates.
