ATF Pistol Brace Rule: Injunction Granted, Deadline Delayed!

An injunction granted by the Fifth Circuit court of appeals has delayed the implementation of the controversial new ATF pistol brace rule.

The injunction is at to the plaintiffs on appeal. Based on SCOTUS leaving the AWB intact on an interlocutory appeal don't hold your breath for an injunction that applies in New York. Coomply accordingly as you will.

Fifth Circuit Clarifies that its Injunction Against ATF Pistol Brace Rule Covers FPC’s Members

Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) released a statement on the Fifth Circuit’s Order clarifying that the Injunction Pending Appeal in Mock v. Garland applies to FPC’s members, Maxim Defense’s customers, and the individual plaintiffs’ resident family members.

Definitely good news here, and if you are a FPC member the injunction also applies to you as well.

Really of limited use to New York State residents even if they happen to be FPC members trying to coomply given it doesn’t address New York State laws. Who wants to get in line trying to put a coompliant AR-15 braced pistol on their permit while this works its way through the courts?
