There's a great episode about Planet 9 on science channel show "How the Universe Works." Narrated by Mike Rowe it talks about the theory of Planet 9 existing. They have no evidence other than the existence helps explain some other phenomena that right now make no sense. Potential that the planet is also from another solar system and was "stolen" by our sun's gravity. Science is definitely much cooler than when we were kids.

This idea has been around for a long time. Since there isn't any proof of a rogue planet hiding ready to inevitably collide with earth sooner than later, Right now it is bullshit unless someone, anyone, can prove otherwise with scientific data and evidence. The good news is, if it did happen, it won't catch anyone by surprise before life on earth is vaporized by a collision.

I think I watched one of those crazy alien shows on the history channel about this planet. The theory went that this planet is the source for all the alien things on Earth. Also their atmosphere is in terrible shape and they need gold to use as a catalyst to fix it. So they came to Earth and genetically manipulated humans to desire gold to do the hard work for them. The whole thing was like a slow motion train wreck I couldn't look away!

The interesting part is science hasn't disproved this theory yet and it fills in the gap for some things that they can't otherwise yet explain. But again there doesn't appear to be any proof it exists either.

Watch any episode of Ancient Aliens and inevitably it comes up. Some say it's the home of the Annuaki (Ancient Sunerian Gods or Ancient Alien astronauts depending on what you believe) who came to Earth to mine precious metals (mostly gold) for reasons not fully explained (I've heard the atmosphere one before but it doesn't make sense to me really). For some reason the aliens were too lazy to mine the gold themselves so they genetically modified apes into homo sapiens to do the work for them. Then they left (reasons unknown) but fear not. They'll be back one day (to get more Gold I guess)?

Ya I'm not opposed to the alien theory but this one is really bonkers.

Is this the one where you can supposedly see it in the sky if you look through a UV filter that astronomers apparently haven't figured out yet how to see? I hear its full of liberal bug eyed aliens who will be the harbinger of doom to the solar system.

Nibiru is quite real. It's a planet which revolves around it's star, which is a dwarf gravitational twin to our Sole. Many, many stars have dwarf twins. Nothing uncommon about it at all. The dwarf's planetary system will interact with our own when the system goes into high speed on it's return orbital path from the backside of the sun, from where it is now emerging.

The system does not have to be on collision course with anything to be totally destructive. The gravitational influence and the debris fields alone are sufficient to destroy a planet the size of Earth with just a glancing pass millions of miles away. There is much evidence, do not listen to those who say it's just another wacko's storybook tale.

Nancy Lieder is not the first to publicize the Nibiru pass. It's been around for centuries, although named and described differently by various cultures. The system has been here before, and it is here to stay. This time it may just knock your socks off.

Those who view any type of thinking which varies from Herd Mentality as "conspiracy thinking" are limited by their own abilities to accept facts and truths as they actually present themselves. Many things were once considered wacko and conspiracy theory thinking which have since revealed their reality status for all to see; Hitler's escape from Europe during the end of WW2, the existence of alien life which has even visited our planet several times in the past, the construction of enormously complicated engineering feats 10,000 yrs ago by advanced peoples, the absolute un-truth of Darwinian Evolution (recently disavowed by top scientists and theorists), the fiction of once held sacred views concerning atomic structure and physical reality, the supposed impossibility of things once alive, then dead, becoming alive again, etc etc etc. We live in a world full of surprises and wonders. Those who fail to accept the reality before them are the ones who Nature will write off as "expendable" in the search for truth. Ta Ta

It's a fallacy to say that since there were things before that we thought were crazy but turned out to be wrong we should be less skeptical when new things present themselves. The time to believe something is when there is sufficient evidence.

That is your opinion, not a statement of fact. There exists plenty of evidence which you may not see as "credible" but is taken seriously by many scientists and theorists on the subject. In other areas of science, there exist many theories which have no credible data to back up the theory, but are taken seriously none the less. Higg's Boson was such a theory, to name just one.

Scientists do believe our sun has a red dwarf (a star not big enough to ignite) which is common for our type of system. They can see its gravitational influences even though it doesn't produce enough light to see it directly. The problem with this Nibiru theory is if there is a planet orbiting around the red dwarf it would be acting more like a moon since the red dwarf being significantly smaller then our sun would be orbiting our sun as well. If said planets orbit wandered to close to our sun it would be pulled from its orbit of the red dwarf just as if our own moon orbit went to far out it would be pulled into its own orbit and be free of ours. Now since this has supposedly happened several times in the past I don't see how said planet X can still be in its orbit with this red dwarf.

As far a life and an advanced race living on this planet? Well they would have to be a life form very different from ours. A planet with such a far out orbit would never of had the conditions to form life but rather just be a frozen rock like Pluto. A red dwarf never ignited and doesn't provide the light and warmth of a star which has ignited such as our sun. So my opinion is actually not just pulled from my arse.

Edit to add: Could there be a big ass frozen planet out there on a very wide orbit (WITH OUR SUN) that only comes in close once every few thousand years..sure I guess but it is highly doubtful it could have advanced life the kind that is responsible for the "engineering feet's" of past civilizations. Perhaps in our modern enlightened times we simply don't give ancient man the credit they deserve.

OK, I never said there is LIFE on the red dwarf system (or that we came from it), I did say I believe alien life once existed (exists) on Earth, but i did not say I believe it was from Nibiru or any other "frozen" planet. Alien life could be from a gazillion other places. The dwarf system is a reality, like it or not. Also, if "alien" life did once (or does now) exist on Earth, by definition, it is not "alien" life, but Earth life. Does that make it easier to accept? Even if we Earthlings are indeed alone in the Universe ( a laughable notion), we also have "alien" roots, namely the stuff of which we are made, the atoms and molecules which originated from the beginning of time (also debatable-the beginning of time notion). The argument is a non-argument, we are "aliens" whether we care to be or not, and we have "alien" visitors, whether we care to believe it or not. Semantics is not science. What is factual is that strange things happen in reality, our limited brainpower can comprehend only a small part of it, and that is only through the filters of interpretation and educated guesswork (such as data collection and a rudimentary mathematics suited only for human brains). Yes Virginia, there is a reality beyond our little fishbowl of experience and understanding, one of which we are an infinitesimal and insignificant part of, and one which we will never understand.
