I remember my mother being prescribed beef liver as dinner twice a week by her old world doctor.
I was a kid, but I worked part time at a kosher butcher. The boss cut it for her himself and didn’t charge me.

Oh, it's disaster management alright.

But what they mean is not what most people think they mean.

Most people think the goal is to manage the disaster to reduce it's impact on society.

But their goal is to manage the disaster to maximize the potential for social change.

A dairy farmer and a beef rancher both manage a herd. But their goals are not the same.
