There is a consistent party clearly associated with a continual disregard for societal norms, moral responsibility and lawful compliance! Let alone the worst of the acts only come to the surface when assembled in a crowd! And I predict that social media will be used to launch the riots,- exactly the same as this went down.
You can already see examples of this, where mobs of youths have quickly formed up and gone on violent mob sprees looting and destroying whatever they feel like. Convenience stores have been looted and destroyed in mere minutes, and there are plenty of videos of that. And as long as there is no punishment or deterrent, it will continue to escalate.
When societal breakdown occurs (and we are headed there sooner rather than later), I expect it will be something to see: Ugly. Very, very ugly. And I predict it will happen first in places like NYC in the US. When that heads into the suburbs, and the countryside, that is when it will get real.

Plantation era slaves were owned, possessions, chattel, of the slave owners. They weren't permitted to come and go as they pleased. Finding another job because they didn't like something about their current 'job', I think not.
Coal miners were not treated well. They were virtually slaves to their job, but they were not possessions of the mining company. The living and working conditions were deplorable, but the miners were not forced to do that job. As difficult as it was to leave and change their job, homes, or lifestyle, it was possible and not breaking any law. Still their decision.
