I suspect with the move from NH to KY they're going to be hard pressed to turn out anything for a year or more (at least in terms of the Guns produced at that Facility...other Plants should continue as normal factoring in the easing of demand for ordinary guns. while the SBR/SBS/Suppressor markets will be on fire.
Some things are made simply because they can still manufacture and turn enough profit to justify making them; when the skilled labor gets scarce, the machinery gets tired, and there just isn't enough call/margin then it's time to let it go...Ruger M77's are fantastic Rifles, but I'll contend the American's sell at three to one or better....Ruger Red Label doesn't sell anywhere near as well as any of the Browning Over/Unders....Revolvers are labor intensive and most want cheap polymer pistols sans the guy wanting something massive like a .454, .480, .44 etc.

It’s hard for a consumer to buy products when it’s extremely hard to find. Took me a year of searching to find my Wiley Clapp GP100 and I had to go used after 6 months of searching in order to find a Blackhawk.

It would also be nice for manufacturers to realize that a sizeable number of consumers want modern features. I don’t love the fact that there is no factory offering from Ruger of a GP100 or SP101 with night sights. I had to source some from meprolight and install them myself. I also don’t love the black on black sights on my Blackhawk. I really wish it was offered with fiber optic sights, or that it was easy to change the sights on it.

Surprised at the m77 and the gp100.

I like my PC carbine. I suppose there's more competition in that space for us non ban state.

I really wanted an sp100 or a gp100.

Beretta is continuing a hostile takeover of Ruger.they now own 25% f the stock. There is little overlap between Ruger's guns and what Beretta already controls.

What the FTC's Beretta-Ruger Order Actually Means

The Federal Trade Commission's announcement about Beretta Holding and Sturm, Ruger & Company sounds dramatic. The agency says it is stopping an anticompetitive arrangement between two major firearm manufacturers.TFB covered the companies' cooperation agreement in May; this is the regulatory...

I just recently picked up a Ruger 2 1/4” SP 101 . I’m glad that I did even more now.

Really saddens me. I just acquired an older Redhawk which is the best revolver I own so far. I have nothing but fun shooting my Ruger vaquero too. Hoping that Ruger retools and starts production on their revolvers again. Everyone and their mother makes a Glock clone these days. I know that's what sells but it's sure nice to at least have the option for decent wheel guns. With Ruger out of the mix (for how long...who knows) it's just S&W, Taurus, and Charter Arms that are selling affordable revolvers.

I’ve been meaning to pick up a set of Vaqueros to get into some Cowboy action shooting competition. Ruger is forcing me to step up my game now and grab them sooner rather than later, before they go nuts on the secondary market.

Ruger says they've lost market share in the .357 market share. I see a bunch of pussified recoil sensitive pansies spoiled on polymer frame striker fired 9mm.
