Yeah, like the school employees who suspected something and merely called the parents. When do we get to see their trial?

If the school administration and/or local/state municipality were against letting teachers arm themselves or have an armed school resource officer, the parents should counter sue for negligence on the part of the above parties mentioned above.

The parents should also sue the school administration for failing to do their jobs. If they truly care to prevent these kind of tragedies then what @Grimscale said is 100% correct. There has to be accountability to all parties.

This is more than borrowing or stealing. Mom and dad had prior knowledge that their kid was fucked up in the head, knew he was dangerous and would likely shoot someone.
Maybe you could compare it to borrowing a car.... you hand the kid the car keys after he downed a fifth of Jack.

I get it but it's the direction we're headed. They allowed the sandy hook victims to sue bushmaster. The kid killed his mother and stole the gun, but somehow its the manufacturers fault?

In this case the kids parents literally handed the keys to the drunk, knowing he was drunk. The drunk didn't steal the car.

In most cases the perp has already paid their accountability with their lives.
It's sad, really. Can't use them as an example, can't make them learn the errors of their ways (painfully, prefereably!), so victim's families are left feeling hollow, like there is no purpose to their loved one's deaths.
It's a vengeance kick.

And the Dems play on that to push their anti-American, anti-Freedom agenda for all it's worth.
