I've read a couple of articles and watched a couple of videos in which Hochul the Horrible said that Mr Mc'Commie Mamdani isn't going to be allowed to provide free busing. And some other free shit that he promised his dumb ass voters.
Hochul the Horrible is up for statewide reelection, and she has already shown that she will cut the commies' nuts off if need be to help her cover the different factions that she needs to, to get reelected. As always, follow the money, aka, the big political donors.
But at the same time, Hochul the Horrible officially endorsed Mr Mc'Commie Mamdani. Doh!

Its not hard to believe why Mamdani won. Gen Z has gone through the political indoctrination program since Pre K. They are more politically groomed than any other generation before them. They are now in the work force experiencing what they haven't been prepared to experience. Democrats are now outed as the ones that gave them empty promises and hope. I don't think the state should have anything to do with NYC's transit system. If they want buses, subways, etc, the city and riders should pay for it. The family who lives in the middle of some rural upstate town shouldn't be helping to foot the bill. If the city can't afford a subway, they should get rid of it.

I've never been to or even near NYC. Looking at the map, it appears that Upper Brooklyn has the densest numbers of the Free Shit Army.
I have a friend who had to go to NYC for a couple of days. When he got back, I asked him what NYC is like. He told me it's something that can't be explained, that I would have to experience it for myself. I could certainly tell he didn't mean that as a compliment toward the city.
Just to put things in context, we're both country boys who live around 375 miles from NYC.
I'm pretty sure he didn't enjoy the big city life for the short time he was there. lol

I read an article about how U-Haul is paying college students to drive their rental trucks back to New York from places like Tennessee, Texas, and Florida.

Even 5 years ago when we moved out here, the U-haul from NY to AZ cost a good amount.
