Meh, I've already been there and done that.
FWIW, I lost my confidence in them years ago.
I'm just saying.
But thanks for the heads up anyway...

Senior management at the state level imploded. They survived county by county.

I lived about 3 miles from the "Pompus" Rod & Gun Club for 24 years, never went there.

Genesee County Sheriff Maha (now retired) spoke at one of the SCOPE meetings I attended.
The sheriff said that he prefers anyone in Genesee County who's not a prohibited person to be armed. He also added the importance of being proficient with their guns.
I'll file this under what a NYSP superintendent would never say.

I still have a SCOPE tee shirt. Maybe I will wear it that day as a show of support! LOL!

I'm a Lifetime Member and still get emails from them. During the week the typically send out a daily email either about NYS or National politics, often focused on 2A issues but not always. Some of the emails are insightful. I couldn't say for sure how the leadership is these days. I will say that unless they do something big my days of donating to them are over. Just like the NRA.

I met the SCOPE president a few months ago at a rod&gun club. He kinda put me off into joining myself but the club renewed their membership.
