Sorry as I didnt pay much attention to when NY got the bright idea of make us get Semi auto permits for semi auto long guns.....cuz you know...we are so bad.....as I thought my semi auto .22lr days were over and stupidlly thought I had enough....well now I decided that I may not have enough...so as a pistol permit holder what hoops do I gotta jump through to get my semi auto permit on top of that....If anyone has direct knowledge im in Ontario County.
More time of from work to run around for this BS...........
also recommendations on Buying a 22 semi for my son as a gift. HOw would I do that and the 4473 and NOT be a straw purchase as I know you gift a gun to someone you know is responsible 34 year old with a Garden Chuck Problem........ Maybe I just go with him when I pick up or get it with him and have him fill it all out?? That may end up being the best........I dont know....damn NYS. Not even sure where Im gonna get it at this point.
