Socialists Call for “War in the Streets” and the End of Capitalism​

“You better get ready for … war.” Across the country, radicals are openly planning for the next stage of their movement, and notably, the Democratic establishment is not part of their plans. Despite the talk of a “Big Tent Party,” socialists are riding high on a surge of support and talking purges and revolution.

In Chicago, radicals gathered for a conference on Marxism during what many view as the heyday of socialism in the United States. The Democratic Socialists of America is now larger and more powerful than at any time in our history. Socialist candidates are winning elections across the country as Democratic establishment figures from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) to Gov. Gavin Newsom pander to the movement.

Speakers in Chicago used the conference to push supporters to the next stage in the movement, including some openly calling for violence and the end to capitalism.

The professor “of Africa and Islam” whose faculty page is appropriately found under “bware” is the latest radical to dismiss the “Big Tent Party” rhetoric of establishment figures like Schumer. He declared, “The Democrats cannot be reasoned with. They must be destroyed.” There is little subtlety in the message, Ware has explained: “You cannot call yourself a revolutionary and not be talking about training with weapons.”

The "no kings" rallies this past weekend were a joke. Just some bored old leftist who had nothing better to do. The turnout was so small the media hardly filmed any of it.
As for what's going on in France, the story i'm hearing is the country is out of money. The interest rates on their bonds are going up extremely fast. They don't have the option to "fire up the money printers" as the are on the Euro. The EU is reluctant to help them as it would ultimately spread thru out the EU. I have a feeling austerity won't work with the French.

The "no kings" rallies this past weekend were a joke. Just some bored old leftist who had nothing better to do. The turnout was so small the media hardly filmed any of it.
As for what's going on in France, the story i'm hearing is the country is out of money. The interest rates on their bonds are going up extremely fast. As for France if that’s true it’s an awful big leap from we just want better high school conditions as we’re told. I’m sure there’s an element because now it’s about costs. I can tell you I went to France before covid and everything there was very cheap. We were shocked how cheap everything was. I got a ticket, it was $25.00. A huge pot of mussels was like $11.00.

Now all o can say is the people protesting and looting don’t look very French to me. They all look like they came from different continents. Something isn’t right.

I think it will depend on how the election shakes out. If the Dems are in charge how can they blame them for the prices? We may get some from the DSA crowd to push things further socialist though and that would make sense.

France has way more armed gang members than led to believe. When we visited we wanted to go to Versailles and were told absolutely not to go there because it is unsafe and run by criminal gangs.
I will say Muslims use these and it certainly appears that is who is doing the destruction to me.

I can tell you from personal experience the cops in Paris are heavily armed and look like swat teams. All had sub machine guns, pistols, and vests with canisters on them and multiple magazines. They wouldn’t even look at you or say hi. I tried waving and they stayed stone faced.
I very place else we visited had no cops. One place had two military people patrolling. Macron just needs to take the gloves off and this will be solved quickly. The rioters know this was their response.
