hand polished the flats of the slide and the trigger. Hand fit new solid medium length trigger, commander ring hammer, 20lpi checkered mainspring, hand polished sear and disconnector, then adjusted the sear spring for consistent clean sub 2.5lb break. Resprung with correct springs. Decided to keep the single sided safety as it fit the look I was going for.

Looks awesome. That finish is mirror like. Great job. Grips are really nice as well.

Looks like you started early.
Let see y’all’s gun/gear room art collections. I’ve been adding to mine little by little. I just picked up these two limited editions runs of the Gordy and the 416, my favorite being the iconic Gordy of course.
Also if you look close, you’ll notice inside the frame along with the Gordy is a signature on a tab. That signature belongs to Sergeant Major Brad Halling, the third Delta sniper who was on Super 62 with Gary Gordon and Randy Shughart during Operation Gothic Serpent (Black Hawk Down). Halling provided air support from Super 62 before it was hit with an RPG, which is what almost severed Halling’s leg completely.
