He should ask to be extradited to Virginia where he will probably face no charges.

Shouldn't work in NY

Every firearm and magazine is legal in Virginia.

Well there ya go... Again proving that breaking only one law at a time may prove most beneficial if you plan to at all. Lol

Controlled substance? Pot?

[Zerex]

He was working at a dangerous facility.....................NYS is danger defined........

[Tisto]

How can they charge him for buying a ballistic vest ?

[Far king]

Was the guy ignorant of the fact that he was working in a police state? WTF!
Although I believe he was compliant with the 2nd amendment and what he had was legal in any free state, he had to know he was running a serious risk in this fucking police state.
Unfortunately he’s fucked now and those felonies will be with him forever.

How can they charge him for buying a ballistic vest ?

Because you are not allowed (by government) to protect yourself anymore.

The law is all about the PURCHASE of body armor, not about posession. Unless there was a sales receipt attached to it showing that he bought it in NY, the charge is bullshit. For many years there has been a law about WEARING body armor WHILE COMITTING A CRIME, but that doesn't apply either. The DA is over-reaching.
