This did impact you. If they get sued it impacts everyone who might buy from them. Their goal is to bankrupt them with lawsuits. It might just work. So, this does not affect me in the least.... However.....
The gun makers lost today. The people lost today with this ruling.
There are many ways to skin the ol cat....
Granted, none of the manufactures will do this, but, they could stop selling their guns to LE agencies in the State. Ammo manufactures could be team players and do the same.
These same companies could 100% pull out of NY and any other State that wants to play this game.
Many things can be done. None will though

The gun makers should take the Serbu approach and sell nothing to a state if everyone can't have it.I own more than 100 firearms. The only guns that I want to buy now, are guns that might tickle my fancy down the road.
I get it, this could affect many, most things in life, I am a "One Dog, One Bone" kind of fella.
This does not affect me. At least, not any more.
As for destroying these gun makers, maybe the gun makers should destroy the states and the elected that are trying to destroy them.
Again, one is willing to fight, or they are not.
I thought this law was more about the manufacturers sales and marketing than it was about downstream misuse of a product.By this logic cannot someone sue GM if a loved one is killed by a drunk driver who was driving a Chevy? If someone stabs another with a kitchen knife can henkels be sued?
Exactly. This will trickle down to every manufacturer and eventually the State. Wait until people start suing for letting violent criminals out with no bail who commit crimes.By this logic cannot someone sue GM if a loved one is killed by a drunk driver who was driving a Chevy? If someone stabs another with a kitchen knife can henkels be sued?
I honestly did not read past the info on the press release, but now that you say it that seems familiar.I thought this law was more about the manufacturers sales and marketing than it was about downstream misuse of a product.
Can we sue NYS if they let a criminal go who later kills someone ?By this logic cannot someone sue GM if a loved one is killed by a drunk driver who was driving a Chevy? If someone stabs another with a kitchen knife can henkels be sued?
