Held again in the Cattle Barn, the Spring Show generally is a busy Show...We'll be there with Tables, but I don't know exactly where; last time it was by the Loading Dock where Northeast Reloading brings in stuff by the Pallet.

They moved it from the Center of Progress bldg. to the Cattle bldg. last year. There’s still plenty of room in the new location for the almost 1000 tables that are usually there.Hey brother,
Cattle barn? So the gun show is not inside that big building anymore?
What`s the name of the business you`ll be under?

As you go through the Gates the "Cow Barn" is on the Right, and IIRC there's a fiberglass Cow out front...Previously it was in the Center Of Progress Building but a screw up in Booking a few years back moved us and everybody seemed to like the venue better. more room to walk around, not as hard for vendors to get in/out with Carts, and it does not smell in there either.Hey brother,

"Van Tassel's Gunsmithing" is the Business Name Mary Van Tassel is the owner, I'm "Man-u-well Laboor" (Glenn) and her Adult Son also goes if he's up here.
9-5 Sat. 9-3 Sun $12. at the Door.
Pistol Clerks from multiple Counties were there in the last time, expect they'll be there this time...We bring a LOT of handguns, more than we have display cases for, so ask if there's something sought but not seen.
There's parking around the sides of the Building and certainly some placarded spaces near the front. Find me if you make it, always like meeting new people....be ware: busiest time invariably is between 11:00 and 1:00Thanks FP,
wife an i are gonna try to make it there this year if she can get the weekend off. Hopefully they`ve got parking for the disabled close by.
Spring Show is always busy where folks are lined up to get in...No idea if they'll run the shuttle, but if parking is pushed out I have to believe they will.I hope they have a shuttle bus running this time. It was a long walk from the parking lot last Fall.
Thanks budd, wife an i will hunt ya down if we come up. Hardest part is her getting the time off, then shufflin my old disabled ass around, lolThere's parking around the sides of the Building and certainly some placarded spaces near the front. When you pull in to the lot, just tell the parking attendant you need to park closer and they will wave you on, not guaranteed to find someting next to the door, but I always get closer than the bondocks they seem to want me to park in.Thanks budd, wife an i will hunt ya down if we come up. Thanks for that, pete! We`ll see what happens. When you pull in to the lot, just tell the parking attendant you need to park closer and they will wave you on, not guaranteed to find someting next to the door, but I always get closer than the bondocks they seem to want me to park in.
Looks like good weather for walking in because you know Hochul wont support busses for gun owners.Spring Show is always busy where folks are lined up to get in...No idea if they'll run the shuttle, but if parking is pushed out I have to believe they will.
Meh, I don’t mind a little stretch of the legs. Gotta start working off the extra winter weight .Looks like good weather for walking in because you know Hochul wont support busses for gun owners.
Do Tell …I promised to buy two pistols from a friend I worked for 3 decades. They were his fathers and I think I worked out a fair price. So going to the show this spring and not spending money is a real struggle.
Nice ! What model S&W ?
I'd expect that much just of the S&W, especially a mint one in the Box with Factory Papers...The Colt should be $300 all day, but despite being "Colt" the little .22 Pistols don't fetch the bigger bucks...Super Nice Ruger, Browning, and Colt's with Wood Grips, 99%, Presentation Cases, Specialty models, etc. do bring better money....S&W 41's go eight to a grand.I'm paying 850 for the pair.
Not a clue if that's a fair price.
I see some model 17 bring more money than others.
That’s not bad at all. The Model 17 could bring close to that alone on a good day. I’ve got one of the rarer 5” barrel model 17’s . They’re great shooting.22’s.I'm paying 850 for the pair.

Unfortunately every county is different when it comes to transferring firearms from a deceased person’s possession. However I thought that the State allowed up to 30 days to either surrender them to the county sheriff’s office or transfer them directly to a dealer. Again, it’s different by county so I could be wrong. I know it’s that way here in Onondaga Cnty. Because I had to help my wife with that when her dad passed. Hopefully since a dealer is already involved there won’t be any shenanigans on the part of the sheriffs office.Never once bought a used handgun before either. A dealer is telling me he has to surrender them at the shoo before transferring to me. I'd like to both be there.
Jesus almighty.... yeah you stole those for that price! How do you sleep at night, lol. That`s beautiful!!! That`s an easy $1,000 gun.
The executor/trix of the Estate has 14 days from date of Death to dispose of the Handguns irrespective of they have a Licenses or not.Unfortunately every county is different when it comes to transferring firearms from a deceased person’s possession. Saw this shot on Facebook.I had to go into the city around 9:30 this morning so I figured that I would stop for a couple of hours on my way back home. I got there around 10:30 and drove around on the 10 acres of parking and couldn’t find one lousy parking space anywhere. The place was a frigging mad house of cars every jockeying for a parking spot. There were at least two other events going on on the grounds in different buildings that made it impossible to find a spot to park that didn’t require a half mile walk to the gun-show. After looking for almost 15 minutes for a spot and gave it up. As I drove out the back side of the fairgrounds I was able to see the front of the cow bldg. where the show is now as I drove by and there was still a line a damn line out the door and stretching down the side of the bldg.
Screw that ! It’s good for the vendors there I’m sure but when the show is THAT damn busy there’s Waay too many people there to enjoy myself. Maybe I’ll try again tomorrow morning.
