Peter Tilem offers the same thing. $38 a month and he’ll defend you on a legit SD case up to $250k I think. It’s called prepaid legal service as a loophole. But essentially does the same thing
Don't let your Wives, Daughters, Children go unaccompanied.
Thugs like to roll up from behind with one or two just out of view waiting on the ambush.
DIRECT CHALLENGE to their behavior/actions will often dissuade their advances, but make it very clear that you will terminate with extreme prejudice the leader and his lieutenants; from there I would expect them to back off, if not, be ware of the ones waiting in the wings; they're the ones that'll go to work while you're distracted.
Good fighting knife, used quickly to hit and move to the next non-stop, very quickly while getting your loved ones the fuck out of there,
Make sure they know the plan, where to go, what to do, and not to stand there screaming to stop it.
Got a kid/child? Air Tags and/or other tracking are a must! Don't believe me? Have a personal, heart to heart with Law Enforcement and ask them...there's shit you want to know about that isn't allowed in the News going on, people that shouldn't be here are, and to them you're nothing more than cattle to be rustled.

Did this recent ruling get rid of the social media stuff?
If not what do we have to list? They need my user name for each one I visit? Broome application says list any social media account used in the oast three years.

Social media is done, it was struck down. You can challenge them on it, they will fail. Enlighten them on it, that it was struck down.

Correct. I get sick and tired of hearing nothing happens in my safe small town except a domestic and a drunk here or there. They are morons and we have everything except murders.

Absolutely correct!
People would be shocked if they knew just how much they are being silently investigated these days.

Sounds like USCCA sucks and their insurance bean counters may not even follow the rules in their fine print.

2nd Circus MAKES UP A LAW
INSANE 2A NEWS: FEDERAL APPEALS COURT USES LAW THAT DOESN'T EXIST (!!!) TO TAKE AWAY 2A RIGHTS...
The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit issued a major 2A ruling running 260 pages and relied on an alleged North Carolina law that was never adopted. Mark Smith Four Boxes Diner breaks down the issue.
Further reading on the question about whether North Carolina ever adopted the English Statute of Northampton can be found here:
Second Circuit Opinion here: https://storage.courtlistener.com/rec...
Stephen Halbrook article debunking the alleged law. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.c...
Stephen Halbrook, Faux Histoire of the Right to Bear Arms: Young v. Hawaii (9th Cir. 2021) Further thoughts on the issue from Mark: I also note that even assuming this statute had been adopted by NC, the Statute of Northampton is a law that prohibits “going to the terror of the people” and has nothing to do with peaceable carry. It was an anti-terrorism statute.
The NY "sensitive places" law bans peaceable carrying and not just acts of terrorism. Moreover, we should take note of the footnote in NYSRPA v. Bruen about the Sir John Knights case.
The US Supreme Court noted that if and when the historical record is unclear/ambiguous, then the Second Amendment's unqualified command ("shall not be infringed") should prevail.
See Bruen footnote 11 (“To the extent there are multiple plausible interpretations of Sir John Knight’s Case, we will favor the one that is more consistent with the Second Amendment’s command.”) Lastly,
the case of State v. Huntly, 25 NC 418, 420 (1843) is further proof that this alleged NC law should hold no bearing on questions of 2A meaning. The Huntly case explains that even assuming that this law was in place in 1792, the law had been eliminated by 1838. Huntly explains,
“The argument is, that the offence of riding or going about armed with unusual and dangerous weapons, to the terror of the people, was created by the statute of Northampton, 2nd Edward the 3d, ch. 3d, and that, whether this statute was or was not formerly in force in this State, it certainly has not been since the first of January, 1838, at which day it is declared in the Revised Statutes, (ch. 1st, sect. 2,) that the statutes of England or Great Britain shall cease to be of force and effect here.” State v. Huntly, 25 N.C. 418, 420 (1843)

you are now allowed to carry into a place that serves alcohol
After having ACLDN for several years, I think that the cost difference is well worth it for the additional features that they provide. I see they even cover you *if* you have a self-defense incident even if you are carrying outside of your restrictions. They are attorneys, and not insurance. It seems like a no-brainer for me.Check out this Lawfirm .. a few of the major gun tubers they used to promote USCCA have dropped them and are going with this ..

Remember one year ago, An armed citizen pulled his pistol at a Utica Applebee's to stop a robbery or assault. No charges were ever filed. The state and county had no interest in defending they're own laws.

Personally, ny has lost the ability to tell me what I am and am not "allowed" to do. They stopped following the supreme laws of our land. I will (have in fact) in turn stop following their unconstitutional laws. It really is that simple. There are consequences to every action we take every day. You just need to be prepared to answer them. Do you speed? Do you roll stop signs? Do you jay walk? We all break their laws every day. Do you really think they are going to push a case on you for carrying in one of their locations? They cannot risk it. This law is only working when you have the fear that they desire. Beyond that there is nothing.
There are ways to have what you want in ny. It is getting harder but there are still ways. You have to be creative sometimes. I will continue to live my life as an American in ny until I can get the fuck out. Sometimes you have to bend the rules for your best outcomes. Lean on that rule book just as hard as you can.

From what I understand, previous held hunting/target restricton has been dropped yet Broome still insists on it being there. They'll probably still require social media checks. SCOTUS doesn't mean shit to NY.

not much discussion going on here these days - i've been away from NYGF for a bit and am just seeing that in Dec we got to carry in a few more places. So it looks like private property accessible to the public that doesn't serve alcohol and religious places are the only newly allowed?

Only thing that changed was the restricted places got "slightly" less restrictive.
Meaning that for example, you want to carry your gun to Walmart, you now can.
