Is it ok for someone to attempt suicide? What about someone who wants to cut off their arm because they "believe" it doesn't belong to them?
Someone who is capable of self mutilation has serious mental issues. Add in a complex concoction of hormone chemicals, which are known to change personal behavior, and you can have an extremely unstable and violent individual. This is NOT someone you ever want in the military, and not someone I would want in society.
They are not brave. They are not courageous. They need help.
There's a reason suicide is high in the transgender population.
I can't fathom how a group that states chemical castration of prisoners is wrong but physical castration of an individual is somehow "heroic".
