If you want a cheap untracable suppressor you go to autozone and grab an oil filter.

Or you buy one of those long narrow "fuel filters" off ebay and expect a visit from the ATF.

Surprisingly thin. The STL's are very easy to find it you want to look at in CAD. There are many to choose from but the FTN is the current flagship model. For more extreme use they recommended to sleeve it with a carbon fiber tube or wrap it with fiberglass, mostly to keep from blowing out after too much heat input.
Oil filters while cheap and ubiquitous are not very effective. They work to a degree but are not optimal by any means, let alone the issue of making sights pretty much worthless. As far as filters to piss off the AFT the NAPA 4003 has been around for decades and used in a manner non consistent with its manufacture for as long. It does not have the correct thread like an oil filter and requires an adapter but like an oil filter is sub-optimal at best.
