Top off your spare gas cans and vehicles... If this is accurate shit about to get dicey.

Also wouldn't shock me if we're about 1-2 escalation cycles away from sleeper cells going active.

Estimates are that the houthies shenanigans are responsible for about 0.3% global inflation because they are increasing the cost of so much shipping.

That's averaged over all products anywhere, not just what sails by them.

So, it *does* affect you.

I didn't say it didn't affect me, I just don't believe it's worth starting another 20+ year war that will cost us another 8 TRILLION dollars (estimated cost of the WOT). Maybe the nation's closer to the area that are more affected should band together and deal with it.
Just tired of dumping our blood over there, while politicians here "earn" 700x their paycheck every year on war profits.
Ive watched friends learn to walk on inferior prosthetic legs due to the "budget" while Mitch McConnell and Nancy Peloci make 600 million dollars and complain about the military expenditures, when THEY are the war mongers. Just saying.

Iran also has Biological weapons, from development during Iran-Iraq WAR...............never destroyed .
them.
A little Ebola, or Smallpox release, might be planned.

It wont be a war in the general way, It would most likely be a strike against against Irans navy, airforce and nuclear sites , Not saying its not an act of war, but there will be no ground troops invadeing Iran, except maybe some sneaky Petes.

Im not for Attacking Iran myself, their beef is with Isreal , Thier beef with US is that we aid them and back them up .

Hootie and the pirates however, are causing real problems , that has to be addressed .

90% of the terrorist organizations in the middle east are essentially irregular arms of the Iranian military.

That's why Trump basically said that he's holding Iran responsible for what the Houthis do.

It's not like they're making their own missiles.

And when Iran gets all indignant about "200 civilians killed in US strikes", ask them what those 200 do for work.

If they work in a ballistic missile factory, I'm going to chalk that one up to FAFO.

Wait, Back up. Thats not our fight. When iran closes down the straights of Hormuz and affects the oil trade then Ill jump on board with you . When they come to the US and attack us, Ill back you up on this. Otherwise they pose no threat to the US homeland , Fuck NATO, fuck Isreal Fuck Ukraine. they dont do spit for us except cost us a lot of money, How about we mind our own business ?

Isreali propaganda, 90% of the terrorist organizations in the middle east buy weapons from Iran, that doesnt mean they areworking for Iran. thier interests converge , Most of the terrorists are hard core sunni radicals , You could say they are loosely working together , or with each other with common interests, but to say they are being controlled by Iran is total bullshit

When you bomb Houthi missile sites and kill Iranian generals, I think they're more than just customers.

They are literally bragging about shooting missiles at US warships.

And this started when they fired missiles at US flagged merchant vessels.

So, do we just ignore that ?

Sound like a great idea.

No, our problem is that we aren't aggressive enough in our responses.

Biden was all "proportional" this and "appropriate" that as if this was a negotiation.

Fuck that. *that's* how you get dragged into a multi decade war.

Trump is all "eliminate their ability to wage war". That's how you fix this.

yep they're advisors. We have them in Ukraine.

No of course not, But Iran didnt fire missiles at our ships recently as far as I know , for obvious reasons.

The hooties did, so Im all for carpet bombing them .

[spat]

yep they're advisors. We have them in Ukraine.

Probably not too many generals in combat units.

So, where are the Houthis and Hamas getting their funding ?

They are both directly controlled from Tehran.

A bunch of High ranking NATO officers were trapped in Kursk , multiple times Russians struck HQ in Western Ukraine with NATO officers in them

Isreal gets its funding from the US doesnt mean We control Isreal , Im not saying they are not tied to each other to some extent , But to claim Iran is controlling every terrorist in the Mideast is ridiculous, as if peace will break out all across the mid east if Iran falls . Everyone in the mid east hates Isreal. they dont need any prodding by Iran , but their interests do converge about Isreal and they do work together to some extent , Iran has no problem selling them weapons and sending in advisors As far as control, you'd have to prove that to me.

[holdover]

And dont forget, Iran will have nuclear weapons in 6 months too.

Most of the rest of the middle east has gotten over their irrational hatred of Isreal.

They're not going to be best buddies anytime soon, but they recognize that the animosity isn't doing anyone any favors.

Egypt and the Saudis would be perfectly happy to take a "live and let live" relationship.

And if it really came down to an either or, I think they would pick Isreal over Iran, because they know who's a real threat to them.

The Saudis have been openly at war with the Houthis for a long time.

Hamas and their offshoots like Muslim Brotherhood have tried to overthrow most of the governments in the middle east. You're not getting Egypt or Jordan to take their side on anything.

If Gaza was still part of Egypt, you'd find out what a "Palestinian genocide" really looked like. And I'm pretty sure nobody would care.

[holdover]

Not sure what news your reading but the mideast is fucking fuming mad, Egypt has moved forces to its border , Isreal has moved its forces well inside of Syria on the out skirts of Damascus, The Turks are rageing mad Iran is mad Egypt is mad

[stokes]

I recall that after one of the Israel/Egypt wars Israel took Gaza, after it was over Israel told Egypt they could have Gaza back, egypt said no thanks, you keep it.

[spat]

And dont forget, Iran will have nuclear weapons in 6 months too.

I've been reading that headline a about as long as the the one that says "fusion power is 20 years away".

Both are coming eventually.

But if Isreal really thought they were 6 months away they would bomb the shit out of the Iranian nuclear facilities and set them back a few years, again.

I believe the phrase Egypt used was "those assholes are your problem now".

Egypt took back a lot of offered territory and refused to take back Gaza explicitly.

Yes, Egypt moved their forces in *to contain Hamas in Gaza*. They are not worried about Isreal doing anything other than trying to give Gaza back again.

And in case you missed it, the Syrian government collapsed completely. Isreal moved in because there was *no* government in those areas and *someone* needs to counter Hamas there.

They should form an NGO "holding corporation".

If the courts demand the government cut the check, then cut one to "Musk environmental holding inc" and let it sit there collecting interest until they can appeal far enough to claw it back.

No way the actual legislation authorizing the spending lists a specific corporation that it must go to.

What? its not thier place to just invade and take over . As sure as Im typeing this, if they choose to stay in Syria ( which Im sure they will) Its going to bite them in the ass in a big way down the line

Yes, But they are pissed off about the problems Isreal is making for them , If the opportunity arose They would turn on them in a hartbeat.

Israel is digging thier own grave.

Wait, so you think Russia was justified in invading Ukraine because they didn't like them getting friendly with NATO.

But you *don't* think Isreal was justified in moving in to mitigate the power vacuum after the collapse of the Syrian government ?

How many terrorist rockets did the Ukrainians send into Russia before the invasion again ?

[holdover]

Hezbollah wasnt much of threat when Israel rolled in, They beeped the leadership into hell, and the Syrian army was gone , but its a valid point

[holdover]

Looks like the Hooties hit Isreal with a few missles again. This isnt going to work out the way they think
