Looks like China wont be getting any oil after all.
Im just kidding but if had to guess I would say that most Americans are not into this war, nothing to to stir up the pot and piss Americans off more than a burning aircraft carrier . Recruiting is down and theres talk of a draft . dead Americans in the water would really motivate people like 911.

Only hit military targets on the island and left all the oil infrastructure on and leading to the Island (e.g. tanks, pump houses, piping, pipelines to mainland well locations, etc). Threatened that the oil infrastructure is at risk if Iran shuts down the straight thus blocking ship traffic.Looks like China wont be getting any oil after all.

I do wonder what the administration expected to happen by now. Did they expect the mullahs to flee to China or moscow? Did they expect a popular uprising by now? Two weeks is no time to panic but I am curious what they expected to happen at this point in time.

We've effectively cut off a big % of Chinas oil supply between our moves in Venezuela and Iran. How long before they decide to defend that supply with military actions in both theatres?

China's problem is they don't have much ability to project naval power across the world. They don't have the type of navy that can convoy their oil shipments to and from Iran. We've effectively cut off a big % of Chinas oil supply between our moves in Venezuela and Iran. An imperfect plan implemented quickly is generally superior to a perfect plan that is never executed, a philosophy often summarized by General George S. Patton's maxim: "A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week". This approach prioritizes immediate action and momentum over paralyzing perfectionism, allowing for adjustments through real-world feedback. That escalated quickly.

Trump says US ‘obliterated’ targets in strike on key Iranian oil hub
Trump said the U.S. bombed Iran’s Kharg Island, a key Iranian oil export hub, and warned against interference in the Strait of Hormuz.www.foxnews.com
In battle, any plan, no matter how good or bad is always moot the moment the first bullet flies. Battles have a life of their own and will take unexpected turns rendering any plan useless. This is what makes a swift response superior to drawn out planning with delayed action. An imperfect plan implemented quickly is generally superior to a perfect plan that is never executed, a philosophy often summarized by General George S. I didnt mean we cut their oil by Iran closing the strait. China was buying cutrate sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran. I think it was like 75-80% of their oil imports. That stopped flowing when we hit Venez and Iran. They cant be too happy with that situation.Actually, Iran was allowing friendly countries to ship through the gulf .
They are going to be even worse off when the oil does start flowing again. Iran/Venezuela previously sold oil to China priced/paid in Chinese yuan. That was putting pressure on the Petro dollar. Now when buying Venezuelan oil China has to pay in USA dollars. I would assume the same will happen when the Iranian govt falls.I didnt mean we cut their oil by Iran closing the strait. The entire modern world runs on oil.Wars have been started over lesser reasons....
