Even the mere thought that they are deliberately delaying, for whatever reason, while people are being arrested and incarcerated just for exercising a Right is so repugnant to me.

This will happen. They will stack the Supreme Court. Then what happens, can it be put to the Supreme Court if it’s challenged? Who will decide the 9 justices or the original 9 plus the 6 they add? Sticky situation. Then what happens when people get sick of this and the republicans are back in charge? Would there be 21 justices? We can’t go on like that. If the republicans were smart they would go nuclear and pass a law saying 9 justices is the limit.

And, realistically, there isn't anything they can do that a dem landslide can't undo.

I predict that, once all three branches are controlled by the Dems, with SCOTUS being enlarged and packed full of Ketanji clones, we will finally see an actual Civil War. We already know dems don't drag their feet when it comes to shoving their bullshit down the throats of Americans (literally and figuratively). We will see anti-gun, anti-rich, anti-freedom laws passed in record time.

All because some repubs are either bought off, compromised, or just plain stupid.

The Supreme Court needs to lay down the law and say this is what we’re doing because certain states don’t follow the law and continue to pass laws to defy our rulings. Make a huge broad sweeping ruling.

Does the Supreme Court have the authority to remove "lesser" judges? I guess that is the operative question right now.
If the 2nd Circus continues to decide in contradiction to the Constitution and SCOTUS precedent, can SCOTUS say "you're fired" to them?

If not, then there's no use complaining. Since We The People can't have them removed, and SCOTUS can't remove them, it doesn't leave many other options to remove corrupt/stupid/tyrannical judges.

In my area it’s not even worth voting for judges because there’s only one on the ballot. I know federal district court judges are appointed.

Every level of government should be chosen by The People. No shortcuts, no "we elected a governor and want that governor to pick for us".

If people are too lazy to elect their own government then they should lose voting rights altogether.
