I've said for a long time, the only way to shut down the left's dirty tactics is to make them regret it.

Probably not, but I've seen a couple decent (but still not great) people go to the beltway and drift towards the evil side in the filthy swamp environment. I've also seen the swamp chew up and spit out good people who resisted the rino establishment.
As a minimum, to survive as a constitutional Republic, we need term limits to nueter the swamp monsters.
As an added measure we need to find an environment where fund raising is no longer so crucial to a campaign ... to further starve off the artificial influence of lobbyists or special interests groups.

IIRC, Cuomo tried or proposed having the state fund political campaigns, but it was heavily in favor of the democrats in some way, like contribution gerrymandering.

I don't think anyone knows exactly how deep the Swamp is or how far it will go to ensure control over the United States. Especially in a world with BRICS plus. Vivek is reported to have taken a 90k grant from a Paul Soros foundation for a fellowship to Yale law school in 2011. Not such a big deal really except the same year he made 2.2 million. Taken the money, he knew who this person was connected to George Soros. Where was his politics and moral compass? He initially tried to hide it as well.
Vivek is now reported to be open of a possible joint run with Trump. Really?
Look, things are getting desperate for the Globalists and they're beginning to realize that 2024 is all or nothing. Nothing will stop their election interference and theft and that includes a plant within the GOP singing harmony with Trump. A spy should it be necessary. What they understand all too well is that there will be no consequences for their actions in 2024. None. Nothing but bitching and talk.
So I'm very very skeptical knowing full well Trump is likely not the nominee. If Trump is, they have their inside man. Then the down ballot will all go Democrat. Congress flips all Democrat. Then you'll see the real power congress actually has that the GOP doesn't use.
They don't need Vivek to be a plant or spy. They literally infested his entire administration for 4 years undermining his every move.
Outside of Trump Vivek is likely our only other real chance of a political outsider knowing how fucked up the situation is and with the means and ambition to do something about it.
If he ends up as a wolf in sheep's clothing it won't matter because 99% of the RINOs already are and Trump needs allies.

I knew his administration was fucked when Jeff Sessions flocked to him to be the AG and then step aside.
They need a plant inside the WH if Trump wins 2024. Trump will not make the same mistakes. They lost their minds when Trump surrounded himself with his family in 2019 once he realized his administration was compromised and cleaned house. Too late of course. They said he was to become a dictator and his family wasn't qualified to advise him.
We will have to wait and see how it unfolds. But Why Vivek? Where did he suddenly come from? Anyone of us, with the same view points could be there on the stage? Money is always behind the puppets. Vivek has not announced how much of his own money is in the game and no one has asked.

If Donald Trump is not in the primaries for whatever reason. At this point anyway, I would vote for DeSantis. I really like how he has handled and is still handling the covid scam in his state.

I'm thinking if the government pushes covid mandates again. Mandatory vaccines that don't work, shutdowns, how many people you can have in your own home for Thanksgiving (remember that one?), and other things like closing schools and churches. That should give DeSantis a big boost as his history shows how he pushes back hard against the scamdemic. COVID isn't new anymore, many people have caught on to the scam by now IMO.
