But, just like all of NY isn't NYC, all of AZ isn't Phoenix.
My neighbors have fruit trees.
2 miles down the road a local farmer is growning acres of alfalfa.
We don't get much hotter than NY in the summer.
You just need altitude and AZ becomes quite comfortable.
