Yea, low background steel has been a thing for several decades now.
Basically it's cheaper to salvage a shipwreck from WWII than it is to make "clean" steel now.
In certain processes it's absolutely critical.
Eventually they'll run out of old steel, and then someone's going to have to make a "clean room" steel smelting operation, and that's going to cost an arm and a leg.
Maybe we'll make it on the moon by then to avoid the contamination.

From my cheap seats Joe Kent in this video is honestly presenting his coherent logical thoughts and does not jump to any final conclusions. I don't know him and just met in passing before the Biden era. He does not conclude (e.g. Trump was blackmailed, Trump went nuts, Trump was provided new compelling intelligence. etc) why Trump initiated midnight hammer after resisting heavy US military use in the regional conflict.
In the earlier video (by two has beens who do not go by their real names) I would not lend much creedence to self serving podcasts put out by Palmisano (aka Shawn Ryan). Between the PTSD, drug addictions, as well as his use of mind altering and psychedelic drugs his brain is broke. He is also a liar who has been caught in broadcasting bullshit a number of times. It's between difficult and impossible to tell when he's telling factual truth, making shit up to get $$$ clicks, or is believing bullshit that's in his broken brain.
Palmisano had some baggage before entering the service but I would not be suprised if a good part of challenges on his plate lies with his vegus nerve generating continuous flight or fight hormones for longer than he could handle while serving this nation, he suffers from his PTSD still, he aggravated his condition with drugs / addiction and is a broke man who needs / deserves more help. Until he can clean up, who knows if his opinionated diatribes are worth his $10 million click revenue.
The wannabe Irishman Palmisano is a successful entertainer (like the View) but should not be used as an objective fact source (likely worse than the view)

I always assumed midnight hammer happened because there was credible intelligence that Iran was going to finish the enrichment and build a bomb soon.
Once that happens a lot of options for containing them permanently close, so that is absolutely something you need to prevent.
I think Midnight Hammer was an unqualified success (despite the doubts expressed by usual suspects here) there is no indication that Fordow could ever be rebuilt.
However even with the best case results from Midnight Hammer it can only set them back a couple years, even if they have to start from scratch.
Epic Fury is the result of the realization that they will never stop, and you would have to conduct a midnight hammer every couple years forever to keep them from getting a bomb.
We cannot trust that future administrations would do the needful to reset that clock, so the cycle must be broken.

What is the problem you have with my stating some facts and giving some opinionated but learned insight?
I did not say anything unflatering about Kent's content, M. Kelly is a girl so you must be worried about Palmisano.
Palmisano does not need your rebuttal to salvage his character, he was in the real Navy and did not need an AVSAB waiver. In fact if someone clicked his content from this thread it probably made him a little more money (clicks to get his worth farther over the ten million dollar mark may be all that his content is about ... follow the money).
There was no character assassination, just some facts on this wannabe Irishman ( yeah he may have some mommy issues since he dropped Palmisano from his name to take on the very Italian handle "Sean Ryan") that may put his "opinions, podcasts, and click bait" in to a better evolved perspective for some without preconceived notions.
Palmisano self admitted he has a broken brain from PTSD, mental issues, drug addiction, and mind altering drugs. He also has a documented history of character assassination with falsehoods. With all that in mind, many may conclude his "opinion" rants should not be accepted as anything but entertainment ... if you find his diatribe and presentation entertaining it's very lucrative clickbait content.
I did provide some opinions that acknowledge his financial success (there is good money in clickbait), his service to our Republic and believe said service contributed to his mental illness / PTSD that was compounded by drug abuse and addiction. His dad was a military pharmacist so he should know how to say no to drugs.
