I have mentioned several times and even posted a screen shot of what I get when you post what looks to be a video. What is it from, some social media like instagram?
I've asked for help trying to figure what's going but all the computer geniuses around here must be stumped too, or more likely don't give a fuck. No wonder this site is on the ebb.

Yea, low background steel has been a thing for several decades now.

Basically it's cheaper to salvage a shipwreck from WWII than it is to make "clean" steel now.

In certain processes it's absolutely critical.

Eventually they'll run out of old steel, and then someone's going to have to make a "clean room" steel smelting operation, and that's going to cost an arm and a leg.

Maybe we'll make it on the moon by then to avoid the contamination.
