my guess was possibly action against the hooties, they been a major pain in the ass recently , I think they have roughly 100K fighters 50k Us soldiers with air assets would make fairly quick work in the desert. and it would make some political points too. 100K Us soldiers wouldnt be enough to launch a serious invasion of Iran , thats a whole different animal
