Fusion xp 3c

Picked up a fusion xp 3c, got everything installed. Feels good in the hand, the stippling is very aggressive, might be a hair too aggressive for my liking. Better too much than not enough. Hopefully I can hit the range sooner rather than later.

I know someone who has this gun from them and loves it. I’ve never shot it but the fit and finish is fantastic on it.

Nice looking piece. It kind of reminds of the Para Ordnance Warthog

I love my para 3.5” 1911. I always wanted one of the LDA pistols. It’s a double action 1911.

I am new to the 1911/2011 space. Always wanted a 1911 in 45acp but I didn’t want a new caliber to buy for. I also have a bul armory tac (2026) 5”, picked that up a few months ago. Outage put a damper on shooting.

I've got a Fusion about the same size but without the high speed-low drag accessories....great pistol.
As I understood it, Bob Serva owned Dan Wesson Arms and started making custom/high end 1911's then CZ USA bought him out, so he moved to Florida and opened Shop there making what he does best.

This is the truth as I understand it as well.

Back when he started making 1911's I had a Browning BSS Shotgun listed on one of the local gun boards and he wanted to swap one of his 1911's for/towards it...I wasn't into big money 1911's back then, but not working something out with him was probably a mistake.

That gun today would likely be worth a good buck for sure.

Cool history. I hear mostly good things about fusion firearms. Granted there are some growing pain, but the listen to the customers from what I have heard.
