I am new to the 1911/2011 space. Always wanted a 1911 in 45acp but I didn’t want a new caliber to buy for. I also have a bul armory tac (2026) 5”, picked that up a few months ago. Outage put a damper on shooting.
I've got a Fusion about the same size but without the high speed-low drag accessories....great pistol.
As I understood it, Bob Serva owned Dan Wesson Arms and started making custom/high end 1911's then CZ USA bought him out, so he moved to Florida and opened Shop there making what he does best.

This is the truth as I understand it as well.
Back when he started making 1911's I had a Browning BSS Shotgun listed on one of the local gun boards and he wanted to swap one of his 1911's for/towards it...I wasn't into big money 1911's back then, but not working something out with him was probably a mistake.
