He was using Kent Faststeel 3” with #2 shot. I shoot BB in 12ga but couldn’t find any in 20ga. He killed them around 20-30 yards in front of the blind.

He has tagged along on hunts growing up but this was the first time he got a license and killed his own geese. I’m proud of him for maxing out his first hunt. He used a 20ga 870 and I used a CZ 720. Going back out tomorrow.

Get an extended pull style mag release and use only factory mags. That will reload a 10/22 faster than any other setup.

How are your groups fine when you haven’t build the rifle yet?

You don’t really need it. Spend the money on things that will tighten your groups instead.

Why remove it? Are your groups opening up? I never clean a .22 barrel with anything but a lubed patch unless my groups are getting bad.

You have to find gloves with the right balance of keeping you warm but not too warm where you sweat. Your hands will never stay warm unless you dry the gloves back out. Same with boots. I used to wear supper insulated boots and socks. My feet would sweat and that was it, never could get them...
