I agree it would help with all of that. I'm wondering on normal usage if it would be too much. I want to handle one badly. I still think my next one will be from these guys. Dynamic Weapon Solutions
I follow them on Instagram and like their cuts. I am a little worried about how aggressive the cut is. It might be a non issue or it might tear everything up. As far as quality I think they are on par with every other aftermarket slide manufacture.
Ya I'm still not convinced that's the case. I don't see how that works with the letter of the law. Once registered it becomes a "legal assault weapon". Therefore you can get anymore assault weaponish so all things are a go neglecting NFA items.
The benefit is if its 50 years old you can then swap out to a modern configuration. I was wondering about this work around when SAFE first hit but never looked farther. The crappy part is it will be registered.
I have thought about these 2 topics in depth. If I was to harden a retreat I would build the exterior from steel or concrete siding and steel for the roof. It's not 100% but would give you another layer of protection. As far as shooting through walls. You could always mount steel on the sides...
That is the case lube. There are multiple products under the "One Shot" label. Hornday really did a disservice to themselves, by not changing up the names.
My guess is whoever put the powder measure away back in the day used something to preserve the metal from rust. Or maybe someone tapped something in there and there is glue residue in it. The only reason you noticed now with bullseye and not the other powders is the weight of the individual...
Sadly I'm pretty far away from you but I bought my own tools and they weren't as bad as I thought it would be.

Oh I agree. Last summer I was down there working and the hot water heater was running. In 30 minutes I heard the lift pump kick on twice. That thing sucks the moisture right out of the air. The down side is the basement is still freezing cold right now.
I'm not quite sure the end plan for this safe. So I'm waiting to lag it to the floor. The good news I'd I have a bunch of treated lumber left over from the 3 decks i had to build. I also have that hot water heater down there that also dehumidifies as it heats the water. I can tell you its DRY...
I've been itching to put together a AR geared toward varmints. I really want to do a prairie dog hunt in the next 10 years. Especially with a 3 1/2 year old having a light recoil precision AR will be a good teaching platform.
Took my first woodchuck in years today. It was driving out dog nuts and in turn driving my wife nuts. You can tell the 308 was not the right caliber it passed through without much damage.
I have to ask, why would you buy the MOS version if your looking at having it milled anyways? I would say buy a normal G40 and have the slide milled to your desired optic. The pricing is comparable and you have a better mount on a heavy recoil pistol.
I'm glad we made Will a believer. It's really astonishing the difference between the overwatch and the stock trigger. @Podmonkey honestly if you don't like the stock triggers you have to try an aftermarket. For glocks all I have tried is the overwatch, and can't recommend them enough. I will...
I can tell you holstering is no different that a normal pistol. The part of the pistol that the dot is mounted on is usually out of the holster anyways(well most of it). If you look and the same holster for the same gun, one for a red dot and one without. Its actually barely cut down and...
How was the outfit and any link to thier services. Me and my marine buddies want to do a group hunt but some are strapped for cash. So I've been pushing this style of hunt for a while.
I'm a big fan of red dot pistols. Sadly my funds have evaporated right after the addiction hit so I only have experience with one.

He was really great and the work was excellent. I would highly recommend him. But he I don't think he carries pre cut slides.
More geared towards...
Ya the problem is they are so vien and sure of thier views they wouldn't see it how your predicting. They would move out of the state and start voting and advocating for the same stuff they just fled. I really am starting to think liberalism is a mental disorder.
I think it's brilliant. They want them then they can have them. Still would prefer launching back over the wall with a catapult, but you take what you can get.
Ya I was poking around I knew they did the groove removals but I couldn't remember about the reduction. If you ever want to watch something fascinating watch his videos. He makes it look so easy you will want to try it on one of your guns. My wife actually watches the videos and wan't to try to...

I can tell you he answered my out of state number on the third ring the first time I called. I think hes more busy now so that might not still be the case. I know hes also experimenting with staggered send in times so the wait times are short you just have to get in the cue.
When I started my search for a custom work guy I too looked for something local. I had little luck what I did find was pretty poor so I went with one of the big names in the business. I can tell you I will 100% use his services again.
The guy that did mine posted the other day that he has short lead times. I can tell you his work is top notch.
