I would love to comparison shoot 2 of the same pistols in the 2 different caliber. Maybe the recoil would be enough to effect me maybe it wouldn't. Looks like a I need a new barrel for my G22.
I don;t see the expense being too great if you reload. Or buy a conversion barrel to practice with 9mm. Maybe $5 more a year with defensive ammo rotation.
I disagree you can see a lot more of the bullet pass through and the metal appears to have a bigger deformation. I will agree with the capacity issue but in this state thats' a moot point.
I too would like to have seen more on the ammo, barrel lengths and speeds. I did think you could see the 357sig whooped everything else. I'm really starting to think about picking up a few guns in that round.
Wait I thought you were suppose to keep the midget porn and ditch the rest because they are smaller files.
I'm glad everyone is having luck setting these up I hope to get mine going next year.
If you don't want to pony up the money for SS media heres another option. BRASS JUICE CASE WASH I bought some and used it in my ultrasonic machine and i worked very well. They claim it will clean the insides of the case without media. I think i will try this when I move up to wet tumbling...
Agreed the box could have been mislabeled. Considering it's his first rifle in this caliber he might not be familiar with what a normal one looks like. Very unlikely still.
I'm going to throw one at you from left field and it's a long shot. Have you tried clambering any other ammo in it? From a different manufacturer or lot. In very off chance the ammo is what is actually out if spec?
Sorry to revive an old thread. A coworker was talking to me about learning to shoot. She comes from a very gun oriented family but whats to learn outside the family. SO I was thinking about recommending this program. I see on their website there is no NY classes scheduled. Any input will be...
Found one recommended on the high road, definitely not cheap. https://www.ammobrass.com/product-page/stainless-steel-cleaning-media-chips-for-wet-tumblers
Edit Finding more.

They make pins that are large enough not to get stuck in the flash hole. I have heard of people using chips so they don't get stuck in the flash hole or the case neck. Sorry IDK a good source. When I move from ultrasonic to wet tumbling I'm going to try it without media and just use the brass...
From adding the trigger and connector I linked above yes I would be 100% ok with it for a defensive gun. I have no clue on what what the trigger pull actually is but it's not that light. I can tell you the upgrade makes it feel like a better trigger, no slop or grittiness, clean even break with...
That was my bad I grabbed the wrong one. I have made these modifications to a G22. I will be doing them to my EDC a G43 after I get some work done on it.
I have only tried one aftermarket trigger but I am so blown away by it I'm not sure if I would try something else. I went with this trigger TAC with this connector Glock G43/G42 Minus Connector.
IDK if the coating for the connector makes a difference or not. Another thing to note is this setup...
