JMB (peace be upon him) decided to grace our European allies with a slightly inferior copy of the perfect handgun. The attempt killed him and the work had to be completed by a Belgian more suited to the task of designing a gun for women and children.
Why carry a .40?
Because it has almost all the knock down of a .45 WorldWarChamp while being chambered in guns designed this century. Plus it has all the capacity of a 9mm without being some metric, French girly-gun.
As for why not the .50 AE? Because I'm not a drug-dealer or Russian. Red...

It's $15 for a pack of 4 in all their different sizes. Slap the medium on and if you need more or less, pull it off and try another. I went with the wide for comfort, but check the dimensions listed on the page against...
The wedge really does make a world of difference carrying appendix. Better than any claw. You can see it in the picture from your side profile where you're lifting your BDU blouse that the grip and rear portion of the pistol are tipping forward. Same thing would happen to me.
Makes me wonder what a full-powered Gauss gun – like 12 ga power – would do.
Oh yea, saw that this morning. Too bad, but there'll be another one.
As far as tech innovations, I think it's too early to make any guesses. To me this is like flight. We have a goal in mind we want (less recoil, more...
Eh, it really depends on the demographic buying guns that you're talking about. The middle-aged to older ones, 40+ yrs old, yea, they're probably not changing their tune about guns. These are the same people who think responsible gun ownership is keeping a 2019 vintage Remington 870 shotgun in...
So I use a similar double-ended wadcutter (maybe the same, but HiTek coated). I find them pretty annoying to load. I place them on the case mouth and they either tip askew or fall off the case when I'm loading them. I only loaded half a box out of frustration.
Is there some trick to loading...
I think this will likely go the way of the folding Glock.
It's too clumsy and slow to deploy in an emergency situation. The problem it's trying to solve: "She was uncomfortable carrying a loaded gun, so he set out to design a firearm that could not be accidentally discharged while being...
For sure. Imparting electronic spin will be a very interesting next step, and obviously dishing out more power will be the constant goal. I wonder what recoil would be like assuming the weight could be reduced and power increased. FPE to FPE vs firearms, it's definitely going to be lower since...
It looks like a pretty damned versatile cartridge. There's everything from ~100 grain bullets to almost 1000 grain bullets. The ShAK-12 or RSh-12 revolver can't handle the longer bullets.
Supposedly may be more powerful than the .500 S&W Mag. Also weighs 5 lbs unloaded, lol.
The confusion likely comes from the fact that the law is still on the books if you look up article 265 of the NY Penal Law. However, wherever you see the statute, it should have a footnote showing that the whole "only load seven" bullshit is suspended.
Load 10+1 and carry on.
I honestly believe that SCOTUS will send a favorable decision our way leading to easing the restrictions for a full carry license. However, get ready for new legislation specifying where you aren't allowed to carry.
I assume the text of the new law will read as follows:
"You can't carry in a...
I use Hi-Tek coated bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. The one thing I would say to watch out for is to make sure you expand the case mouth a little wider with those, or the case may scrape off some of the coating when they're being loaded. It's pretty easy to avoid with boat tailed bullets, but...
