I grew up with a pump Crossman. Nice thing about it is that because you have to pump it each time, you have to re-aim vs just pulling the trigger and blasting through ammo and CO2. They are also nice because you can pump from 2 to 10 or 20 (depending on model) to adjust the power of the shot...
I am pretty sure the in the 1st photo it is a boot print, probably worn by a human, next to rabbit tracks. I have been seeing rabbits out for a week or 2 now. And since Tuesday, a lot of boot wearing humans.
Only reason is because often with gun wounds, the individuals have no health insurance to pay. Doctors figure, hey, we can get paid our outrageous fees through a new required insurance. Money grabbers. Nothing new to see here.
His attorney better want the case tossed, that's what they are being paid for. Fat chance it will happen. Besides, it would suck if someone took away my chance to laugh like hell the day he is sentenced.
Certainly a step in the right direction. Yeah, I shouldn't have to pay anything (in training) for a right but if this were the way it was in NY, I would be all over it.
I picked up a backpack grill after reading a survivalist series. It is a little heavy but makes a good mini club. I have used it to wood fire cook trout while out fishing. The Pocket Grill Not extremely practical and a pain to assemble but man, the trout was good.
I am in the same boat. I've been looking at it for a while but haven't wanted to spend the money. Have you ever made an alcohol stove?
Looks like a fun, cheap project. I just need to remember to build it one of these days.
So many options. It really depends on what you plan to do with it. If it is for quick, one pot meals, a mini stove may be a good choice. I have a couple, one is a MSR rocket and the other a generic. They can fit in your pocket and there are a bunch of cook kits that are designed to hold them...
D'link has a number of IP cameras with motion detection. They can be set to notify you via your phone. They also allow you to view live video when away from home. Last I checked, there is no additional fee for receiving alerts or viewing video. The cameras are VERY easy to setup.
I don't know if they can be bought. I built mine since I already had a 30 foot cable that plugged into the generator. A tip for the other end was a lot cheaper than buying a new cable.
I agree, the interlock is less expensive and more functional.
I want to add the outlet outside and the dedicated breaker for it. I keep saying "one of these days". The kit Dantheman suggests looks like a nice safety option.
It is safe if you understand the principal and know what you are doing. The big advantage is that you can power anything in your house. Inexpensive transfer switches only have 6 to 8 zones so you need to choose what is important to you to power. Transfer switches that have 10 or more zones...
We lost power a few years back for 4 days. On the 2nd day I built a cable to go from my generator 240v to the outlet for my dryer. I shutoff the main and most of the breakers, fired up the generator and turned on essential breakers on the panel. A 5500 watt generator powered everything I...
