What do you consider "without due process"?
I've repeatedly said I don't like these laws, but mainly because some allow relatively random people to start the process of removal.
A judge's order is not "without due process".
Unless there is a red flag law out there that allows a cop to say...
lol and I'm sure he uses that line to convince his minions that all cops think that way, just like a good leftist projects their emotional issues onto everyone else.
This fucking guy is a piece of shit.
Where is he from? Odds are I make a fuck ton more money than he did and won't have to make videos against my former brothers to afford my meds when I'm retired on a pension double what his working salary was.
Two years in a row this guy I used to work with sat next to me at the local Friends of the NRA dinner and won guns. Two years in a row!
To be fair, I’ve had plenty “walk right into my arms” in other ways so I can’t complain, but damn... two years in a row? Come on!!
This guy isn’t trying to mend fences, you’re not stupid and neither am I. I didn’t say anything like that.
Guys like him exist to fan the flames. His schtick is to convince you that cops are your enemies. That makes him my enemy. He’s as dangerous to me as black lives matter is.
We work with...
With guys like this running around you’re not going to convince me that becoming a cuck to “fix” this issue is the proper choice. Maybe it’s an out of control snowball at this point with issues on both sides, but there’s nothing I can do about that.
I’m not trying to change your mind, we’ve figured each other out long ago.
My main point all along is that guys like this are a direct threat to me as they whip up nonsense like this based on some losers statements. He’s more dangerous to me than this Beto guy ever will be because when Beto is...
So are cops, but when a forum is deciding what’s lawful and unlawful AND fully kool aid drunk, who am I to convince you otherwise?
I can recite numerous examples of PO’s reporting bosses from Sgt on up for unlawful orders. I’ve been present when we’ve told bosses that a particular arrest he/she...
I have no problem smearing cops who actually obey a confiscation order completely unrelated to actual criminal activity (ie, not simply gun laws).
This piece of shit preemptively smeared all cops immediately based on the dumbass statements of a nobody. He just hates cops and looks for excuses...
I reject your reality, sorry. It’s a fantasy. The People as intended by the Founders never included perps and scum. Hell back then they imprisoned people for being in debt! Only landowners were considered viable citizens. I actually tend to agree with that assessment.
I’m not getting into another “free for all or lock them up for life” discussion. It’s not reality, never will be, and regardless, isn’t my part of the equation to decide.
I’m actually much more worried personally about a nut like this idiot than I am “Beto”.
Beto will never be in position to affect me. His candidacy is going nowhere and after this he’ll fade away. He didn’t make enough of an impact to further his political career in any way.
This Yankee guy is...
I don’t recall saying any of that, but hey in a thread where what one guy said was used to smear 900,000 others completely unrelated to him or his comments, I suppose anything goes.
Almost every “red flag” confiscation is legitimate. Most never make the news (like all other police activity) because they go smoothly and are uncontroversial. Removing guns from domestic violence offenders happens routinely for example, and no one bats an eye.
Remember my position since this...
Direct anger at the cops instead of the stupid dickhead spouting shit off in a desperate bid to keep his campaign alive.
Par for the course.
Also why I gave up giving a fuck what people think of cops anymore. “Us vs Them” isn’t a one sided concoction. In fact, it’s mostly a concept that...
People who were actually effected by a crime might have a case, I’m not denying that.
You seemed to be implying a lawsuit claiming they don’t provide adequate security for current/future customers. If I was wrong, I stand corrected.
A lawsuit like that would be thrown out in a hot minute on the same exact grounds as what many are saying here: if you don't feel secure in that store, shop somewhere else. You have no standing as a party to a lawsuit before something happens to you.
My ex-wife’s dentist office has been secretly doing work on Joe Pesce over the last week. I had to re-arrange my schedule today to take my kids because she got stuck at work dealing with him again today.
In some ways I agree that corporate laws should change. Corporations enjoy the protection of our government systems. I have always believed that corporate taxes should be very high for this reason.
For example, corporations benefit far more from our public roads (transporting their goods) than...
Cops have nothing to do with this, don’t muddy up the discussion with that too now. Especially considering they are only against open carry. Any citizen can carry a concealed firearm into Walmart.
I’m frankly shocked this is an argument here. If I recall correctly, this is actually one of the...
You don’t ask for permission to sell a vehicle with a lien. You’re requirer to pay the balance of the loan off upon sale or else DMV won’t transfer the title.
Now that we accept so much responsibility for the “number” aspect of larcenies, especially grand larcenies, I’m actually happy to see stores do this. They need to accept some responsibility as well, and help us catch these guys and gals.
We have a Home Depot and a Target - directly across from...
You have the title. It is your car. There is a reason it is called a lien as opposed to them outright owning it. They have loaned you money and the car is the collateral. You still own it. Again, same with your house.
Simple: who pays for the oil changes?
It’s not the same.
You do in fact own your car even when paying the loan off. That’s why it is registered in your name. Same with your house. The deed is in your name with a lien on it. It’s still yours.
Basically he’d have to pay cash from now on and go to a Walmart which doesn’t have his picture posted in the security room. Otherwise they could charge him with trespassing.
Target around here has top notch security with better cameras than we have. We get called frequently for this very thing...
I always love seeing cases where the surviving perps end up charged with murder because the intended victim killed their friends. Almost makes you think it’s worth leaving one on purpose.
