I was “taught” how to shoot pistols by green berets and fuess what? They taught me that weird “cupping” style hold in the second picture.
The Army is seriously behind in pistol techniques.
Correct. They form a committee to create one bill. The House bill contains a few provisions that have no chance of surviving. Non-resident permitd being one, along with overriding state laws on magazine capacity.
Didn't see this post before responding above.
I see it as the opposite: small magazine, I'm keeping it in till it goes click. Going empty is far easier to recognize with a long gun than a handgun anyway due to the larger, more forceful mechanics. It's more understandable to swap with a handgun...
Count rounds. It's not hard to do with training and gives you something to focus on to calm the mind. Besides, this is a not a high capacity firearm anyway. It's one thing to fire 10 rounds from a pistol and drop or secure the remaining 5 to swap a fresh mag, but to fire 2-3 from each mag when...
There's really a disagreement here? Of course mags are easier to reload. Not to mention in a gunfight, slapping a mag in is much easier than fingering one round at a time. Fine motor skill vs. Gross motor skill.
There's literally no argument here.
Reciprocity changes everything. It makes legal guns more visible in anti-gun strongholds. It will provide tons of data for studies to prove that legal gun ownership does not create crime. There is much more at stake here than simply individuals being able to carry individually.
In that light...
Hopefully if this passes, the store owners end up taking out a lot of perps with their legally owned and carried firearms in the free Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
I don’t think this bill would help you. Residents will still have to follow their own state laws. And IF this does pass, I imagine any parts of the House bill that supersede local laws will be gone anyway.
We can't, but honestly I don't see what the benefit would be anyway. I'm interested to see what GOPerfect says.
There's that ongoing argument about Gun Free School Zones and cops with no permit, but I've been assured that since the NYPD is the issuing agency for gun permits in NYC, my ID card...
Isn't it easier to put them on the badge? We have no choice, so I really don't know anything about it. I know some guys who live outside of the city get permits for whatever reason, but those of us that live in the city cannot have a permit.
Gonna be a major burst...
I saw an awesome meme today about bitcoin.
Guy at bar surrounded by girls...
“I’m a bitcoin millionaire!”
“Mmmm. That’s awesome. Wanna buy us drinks?”
“Lol, no, I don’t have any real money.”
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I expected a fight over guns and marijuana would soon ensue. All of the federal laws are still on the books regarding guns and drug use, all that had to happen was for one of these pro-marijuana municipalities to take action. The places that have...
I’ve done this before. My first lower receiver I ordered 3. One was for me and one each for two friends. We all went together and the store just had each of us do a transfer. No problem at all.
