There's really a disagreement here? Of course mags are easier to reload. Not to mention in a gunfight, slapping a mag in is much easier than fingering one round at a time. Fine motor skill vs. Gross motor skill. There's literally no argument here.

I don’t think this bill would help you. Residents will still have to follow their own state laws. And IF this does pass, I imagine any parts of the House bill that supersede local laws will be gone anyway.

Isn't it easier to put them on the badge? We have no choice, so I really don't know anything about it. I know some guys who live outside of the city get permits for whatever reason, but those of us that live in the city cannot have a permit.
