My former BIL is a retired NYSP LEO. I don't see him often, but when I do I intend to ask his if he would follow through without this.
I also remember in my unnecessary CC class the instructors was a former Sheriff ( retired). He took questions at the end. One was about being caught CC in a...
Albeit I agreed, he most likely won't terminated anything. Remember, ny dems have the super majority. Besides, and even though I would vote for him, he still comes across as a rino.
Sportsman's Warehouse in Henrietta ( monroe) has a sign clearly posted on the entrance for conceal carry.
+1 they allow dogs.
Nick Tahoe in Rochester also posted.
Runnings in Brockport posted
+1 they allow dogs
All star tactical is good to go.
Venetos wood fired pizza in Gates NY ok based on...
@admins- Would it be possible that a sticky thread be created that lists retail establishments that allow carry be posted? Possibly by counties?
Would be great especially for small local businesses.
Agreed. I was recently at a local store and noticed they had a sign out front that was a bit ambiguous regarding carry. I asked the manager ( being kind, not a Ken) if it was allowed to which he said " Absolutely, more people come in here armed than not. It would be weird if people didn't "...
I agree. I have begun my searches for places that allow carry and have informed my wife I will patronize those when allow it to the best to my ability. Some locally have advertised it and I will be going there above all others. Will it dramatically change things? Probably not, but my money...
Just reporting the fact so take it easy.. if you have a pistol permit and would like the rifle permit it's $12 for the amendment. Can be done in person or mailed in. Adds rifles to you pistol permit
So the spring was recieved yesterday, replaced the bad one this AM. Back in business. Onto the warranty claim. Will mail this week and see how long that takes.
Ridiculous. This is what our tax dollars go towards? Obviously the legislators have nothing better to do.

Recently in Rochester I saw a sign for a local subway hiring starting at 18/hr. One has to knock your hours would be severely reduced to match cost as @Blackjack stated above. The rate sounds nice to many, but know the house have to be limited.
That's the key in a just state ( unlike NYS). It's entirely her perception, in that instant, as to whether she and she alone was in fear for her life. Understanding there are other circumstances to meet the legal definition of actions under article 35, the basis remains that its entirely her...

Good to see the sheriff taking a stance.
This. I have a friend who is out of town for an extended period of time. I've agreed to watch over his house. I had to have him send me a text message explicitly saying I am allowed to carry on his property.
It's ridiculous.
Again I reiterate that pulling a firearm should alway be last resort, not judging from a legal perspective but unknowing what the opposing individual has
The only issue I have with this is the staying on the car aspect. Standing still they are a metal coffin. Hindsight being 20/20, driving to the nearest political station if she felt threatened may have been a better choice
So I contacted Walther. They will warranty the part. Got the form, will be sending the broken recoil spring back. That's the good.
As to thier customer service, it's mediocre at best so far. They haven't been able to update me as to where my current order is and when it will ship. That's...
Interesting as it's from the Buffalo news, generally not viewed as a conservative outlet.

Teach. I for one appreciate the time you have and do invest in following specific 2A lawsuits, in addition to the analysis you provide and followup. The posts are informative, insightful and seemingly unbiased. I would hope you would reconsider you position as I for one find the extremely...
Agreed. In the whole sum of charges, the new one seems to be the least of the concern. Just interested to see if the charge will stick or be pled down.
Either way, screwed for having a firearm on school grounds.
Isn't that a felony alone?
Just saw this in my feed.

Now, albeit its on school grounds, seems like she will be charged with the sensitive place
I probably should. The thing that gets me is that it's a plastic retaining rod. I may understand it for weight reduction, but a critical part like that should just be steel regardless.
Honestly thought about that. I know it's under warranty, but for the price and potential hassle I ordered it. If it happens again, I will go the warranty route, but insist on thier metal one.
In taking it down, I broke the recoil assembly. Nice. Went to 2 different gunsmiths today ( bad idea, everyone trying to by semi auto rifles made it a nightmare). Noone had one. Fucking plastic spring keeper. Walther has a steel one! HURRAY!
$129 bucks. Ok! Will avoid breakage in the future...
I agree. It may slightly derail this thread, but something appropriate and funny from George Carlin regarding rights. Dead on and funny, albeit I don't necessarily agree with all of it.
Rights are not rights if someone can take them away
