A pistol permit forum will probably happen. We didn't want to have 50 million forums and have most of them remain empty. Honestly, we're growing faster than I thought we would. I thought it would be a while before we needed more forums. Thanks to everyone for joining up and inviting others...
This is something I've been thinking about getting into.
If there is enough interest we can make a forum for blades. However, it needs to get traffic. Having stale forums looks bad. It's why we started with fewer forums and add more as people want/need them.
The non finger grooved Glocks always felt better in my hands. Everyone's hands are different though. But I don't any Glocks. I've always shot the M&P line better.
The title pretty much says it all. Due to the national and state political climates, we all take an interest in politics. Should we have separate forums for "Firearms Politics and Law" and "Non-Firearms Politics & Law"? This would pull the political posts out of The Clubhouse.
Just an FYI, I'm going to tweak the rankings a bit later today. I think there are 10 or 12 rankings now. I'm going to add a few more. It's probably not going to change anything for anybody though.
If someone wants to create some sort of "how you get into HAM radio" with some beginner stuff, frequencies, and other stuff you should know, I can always sticky it.
I'd look for a remote area, with at least 20 acres. 40 or more if you can afford it. This should be a mix of dense forest and grassy areas. These "edge" boundaries are great for wildlife. That would let you build a small cabin/house heated by a wood stove (not fireplace) with a root cellar...
I'm aware. It's basically the same as the 5.56 and .223 difference. It's close enough. .177 pellet doesn't sound as good as .177 BB though. And, I didn't know how many people know that BBS are actually .175.
Lol, you may get inundated with PMs now. Did you read my and @HEX resignation thread at the other place? That pretty much sums up my feelings. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
I'm going to skip the first couple weeks of bow season this year. I drew a CO elk tag. If I fill my freezer with elk, I probably won't be hunting whitetail much. Maybe I'll shoot one for my dad or something.
I grew up out in the middle of nowhere. Well, as middle of nowhere as you can get in the Finger Lakes area. It was 10 or 15 minutes to everything. The "town" I grew up in still doesn't even have a stop light. It was a big deal when it got a gas station back in the early 2000s. You didn't just...
Thanks! You're awesome.
I was thinking about going to the gun shows. Unfortunately, this weekend is way too close. There are a few shows around the Rochester area that I was planning on attending.
