I finally got all my stuff planted. My son helped me get my garden structure done and it worked out great. Still a bit of tidying up to do, but I’m happy with the results.

My spinach is bolting and my radishes are getting woody already!!

That sucks. I just harvested spinach today and shows no signs of bolting. It’s in the hot sun too. This is my best spinach year yet.
Spring crops can be tough. This weather was cold and wet so they didn’t really grow and now it’s hot and sunny. I read somewhere recently that the bolting has more to do with the length of day over the temperature. I don’t know. I have tomatoes and peppers on plants already and this will be the first year I’ll get grapes.
My raspberries and black berries took a beating but are coming back fairly well, but will have lower production this year.
