does anyone really pay any attention to the concealed carry laws? I have been to NYC many times back in the early eighties. I alway took my gun. alway carry concealed. Even a few cops knew I had my gun, no one really cared back in those days.
Im just saying, protect yourself, keep your situational awareness on High at all times. And do what you feel is appropriate. Im never going to be back in NYshitty ever again, so I really don't care. But the more your governor squeezes, the less she will be able to hold the more will slip through

You could also get on an airplane without having to take your shoes off, go through a body scan, an light up a cig inside the plane. I want the 80s back.

Christian v. Nigrelli update. The remaining portions of the lawsuit that the court has not acted on (a few sensitive locations) have been stayed pending resolution of the Antonyuk appeal. Not surprising but still disappointing. From judge Sinatra who has been our MVP so far.

Justice Sotomayor is the justice assigned to take emergency applications from the Second Circuit. GOA doesn't have a choice in who the application goes to.
It goes to her by default. We must be in her covered zone. Each justice gets automatically assigned cases from certain areas or circuits. We just have that kind of luck in NY. This is what the people who say it will all work out for us in the end don't understand.

I like how SCOTUS is being called out here. The 2nd circuit is ignoring your decisions, even of this particular justice did not rule in favor of that decision, her court is still being undermined by a lower court. What will she do about it? Very interesting.

When you dropped someone off or picked them up at the airport you could go all the way to the terminal to wait with/for them too.
If you had a child flying alone this was great. You were with them right up until they boarded the plane, and someone else could meet them right when they got off.
