If you don't go in for the death blow we are not safe here in the US too besides those in Israel. Look at the insanity of agitators wearing Hamas outfits on college campuses. There is enough money in Israel and within the Jewish community to fund this campaign. I do not want to be part of the funding.
I support the entire State of Israel and all of their people, as long as I am not forced to fund it. I do not want to be the piggy bank of the World, regardless of the Country involved.
The US is broke. Period. We have homeless on the streets in every city. We have Veterans killing themselves at a rate of 22 per day. Our infrastructure is broken. Gas prices through the roof. Medical costs out of this world. Every dollar generated by the Federal and state governments need to stay 100% here at home.

I agree we are broke. I agree we have problems here. We need to take care of the reasons we are in such poor shape and it isn't because we would be helping Israel rid the planet of the evil scum. There are reasons at home that this country is a shit show that have nothing to do with supporting Israel. Supplying them with weapons shouldn't be conflated with that. I think that the cancer called Hamas and antisemitism isn't something that won't have a long term effect on our safety and security so we are not just helping Israel, we are helping ourselves too. If my friend was getting beat up constantly and at some point had enough and was doing what was necessary to fight the enemy that was trying to destroy him I could think that he's got this and doesn't need my help. Maybe he doesn't. If I knew the guy that had a history of beating him up would like nothing more than to do the same to me and mine I see nothing wrong with supporting my friend in such a way that would drive the aggressor into the ground especially if I didn't have to even throw a punch on his behalf.

I have been watching closely at what is going on these college campuses and it sickens me. It sickens me that the Police are doing very little and the college leadership is doing even less.
Four Billion dollars per year is what the tax payers are forced to spend on aid to Israel. Since 1999, we have given them close to 300 billion when adjusted for inflation. I say enough is enough. No one is giving the US aid. My issue is not only the aid to Israel, but to all foreign nations. If hamas was to attack us, then we would deal with them. The Russia/Ukraine war is not ours and neither is the Israel/Hamas war.
The issues in Israel have been there for decades, the issue will never go away. Not until Israel banishes all Arabs from their lands. They are not willing to do this. They will wipe out Hamas in the end, but another group will takes the place of them.
You are correct, Israel, and the aid we give them is not the sole reason we as a Country are broke, but the amount of money in foreign aid is a huge factor. My issue is not Israel, my issue is in general. All money generated on the backs of Americans should stay here, for the people. period.
Until the US is financially solid again, I want all aid; military or humanitarian aid to end to all foreign entities. I am tired of being the bank for the World.

As long as they let their foot off the gas you are correct. They need to kill every last one of the enemy and then stay diligent. It may never be perfect but it would be a hell of a lot better than it has been. This country gives so much pork it is insane. Money is budgeted for the stupidest things that have zero benefit for us. Millions to study the mating habits of the gypsy moth and such. Money for causes that only benefit the politicians that write the bills. Brandon is pulling this because he thinks he would benefit more by doing so with his base compared to giving to Ukraine and others that support his evil agenda. IMHO supplying weapons to Israel so they can fight the Islamic neocons isn't the same. Not only would Israel be helping themselves but they would also be doing the entire sane world a favor at the same time, the US included.

You are correct. It's not just the current size of the debt (33 trillion?!?). When you factor in all of the promised benefits to social security, medicare, medicaid and government retiress the number is ridiculous. As Mark Steyn once wrote the US is the brokest nation in the history of nations.
I thought we would have reached a tipping point years ago but I was wrong. I have no idea what is keeping us afloat other than the fact we are just the biggest economy in the world.

It looks like there are tunnels between Gaza and Egypt, while Egypt keeps building bigger walls to keep the dirty Palestinians out.
And...oh yeah... We sold explosives to Egypt that they sold/gave to the Palestinians.
And.... The reason Israel got so much resistance to invading Rafah was because they would find evidence of US-GAZA-EGYPT cooperation.
