I live in the area, this is good news. The vast majority of the people around here are against STAMP for a few important reasons. Overall, it's not a good fit here for something like STAMP. In fact, it's possibly the worst area for something like this. Considering it's next to the wetlands of the Tonawanda Wildlife Management Area and the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge.

This area is not very populated, mostly redneckish rural to semi-rural; most is swampland, and what isn't swampland is farm fields. STAMP would/will fuck everything up here.

The irony in the failed hydrogen generating plant’s land being sold to a data center is noted.

The Buffalo Billions scandle, the theft of moneys from all the NYS Authorities, the FABLED cancelled attempted Westway rebuild, and many other scams to allow politicians to steal money can be seen clearly.

Micron is as dead as the carrier pigeon, and Wolf-speed in Marcy NY.............billions for tribute, but not a cent for democracy.

NY is utterly incompetent. They would never survive as a private entity if they're couldn't just continue to rape taxpayers as a captive source of generating revenue without consequences for their poor decisions and performance.

One has to ask if we are so green here and love our green energy why is the left so against hydrogen? I smell a rat. Solar and wind farms get the green light but this is nothing but trouble and enough trouble to get them to stop the project?

Yeah, I know.
The STAMP project has been going on for 20 years, back and forth, this and that.
In the end, it's a cluster fuck, so who knows what's going to happen a year from now.
As in what company owns what and all that, certain companies have given up on it for good reasons, only to be replaced by another company, and that cycle continues over and over. It's been going on for the last two decades. The whole thing is rotten to the core.

This really has nothing to do with this thread. Well it kinda does.

NY has screwed up so many great, good and decent deals over the years, earning much ridicule. Simple projects that could have been awesome.


Driving around East Tennessee this weekend, I was amazed at how much is being built.

New roads, nearly popping up overnight. So many companies moving here. Almost no tax breaks are being given either.

I used to get so aggravated with the corruption in greed in NY State.

I watched it rather closely in Erie County.

I almost feel for the people, I do feel for my friends and family.

Texas, growing by leaps and bounds. Hell, even parts of Alabama are growing.
