I think NATO will offer security guarantees to "western Ukraine" and will put up a no fly zone over some artificial boundary like the dnipo river or something similar. NATO is likely to say all the countries that had referendums to join Russia, Crimea, Donbas etc they won't touch but I am to the point I actually think NATO will come up with some cockamamie plan to get a foothold in the western half of the country.

Thats kinda what Im thinking too. the 300,000 men is there to pressure Russia , I think. Not that Biden isnt stupid enough to do it , but 300,000 isnt going to be enough .Ive read there are back door negotiations with Russia right now.

My opinion has evolved over time. I used to think the west was genuinely outraged and if so, the logical course of action for a normal person would be to seek peace.
Nope. Not our psychopathic leaders. They WANT this to keep going. They want to use Ukrainian flesh to pay the price to weaken the eastern bloc/brics/Russia and buy US weapons to do so. I realized to them it's the perfect racket. They don't want it to end. It serves their insane interests more to keep the war going or to expand it than seeking peace does.
