You're not wrong, but it's also not our problem, so says the Atlantic ocean. Let Europe and Israel deal with the threats over there. I'm OK with helping them WW2 style, but this isn't that. They aren't committed and want the USA to bear all the costs (monetary and in lives) so fuck that noise.

As I said way back at the start of this thread, this action in Iran was and will always be a bad idea, at least as it's been run through now.

That sounds great in principle.

But every time we try the isolationist thing it comes back to bite us in the ass.

Way better to deal with Iran now rather than later when they have turned most of the middle east into puppet stares and have nuclear weapons and ICBMs.

Imagine if they had nukes, and decided the only way to get past Trump's security to complete their fatwa is to smuggle a nuke into DC.

They wouldn't hesitate.

In 10 years we'll be staring war with an Islamic Europe in the face. A Europe that has nuclear weapons we "loaned" them , and possesses all of our operational and intelligence information.
We'll be lucky if Canada is not their ally, most certainly Denmark (and as such, Greenland by default) will be. Mexico will wait in the wings and only jump into the fight against us if we start losing.

Well said. I've said for years that Islam is trying to breed their way into owning a mature nuclear arsenal in Western Europe. Our "allies" might become our "enemies" once all the young Mohammads and Maliks and Yousefs grow up into military aged males.

I've also read rumors that there are hundreds of Iranian shahad drones in Cuba.
