Have the Jews been kicked out of 109 countries?

AI Overview -
No, the claim that Jewish people were expelled from 109 countries is a false statistic and a well-known white supremacist and antisemitic trope.

Origins of the Myth

• • The Number 109: According to the Anti-Defamation League, the figure originates from an unverified list on a fringe Australian hate website rather than accurate historical data.
  • Data Manipulation: The list inflates the true number of historical expulsions by counting individual towns, cities, or local regions as separate "countries," and by double-counting or misrepresenting various events.
  • Propaganda Purpose: Extremists use the fabricated number to promote harmful stereotypes and argue that Jewish communities are inherently malicious, while frequently calling for future expulsions (using "110" as a subsequent target).

Historical Reality
While Jewish communities have faced severe persecution, forced migrations, and major national banishments throughout history—such as from England in 1290, France in 1306, and Spain in 1492—the actual number of major country-level expulsions is a fraction of the claimed 109. Historians note these real-world events were driven by local political agendas, religious intolerance, and rulers seeking to confiscate Jewish wealth or cancel state debts, rather than any unified pattern or justification.

Have the Jews been kicked out of 109 countries?

ChatGPT -
No—not in the literal sense that Jews were expelled from 109 countries.

There is a real and extensive history of Jewish expulsions and forced displacement. For example, Jewish communities were expelled from England (1290), Spain (1492), and parts of France at various points, among many other places. But the specific figure “109 countries” is not a recognized historical statistic.

The number comes from modern lists that often mix together:

• sovereign countries and medieval kingdoms that weren't modern countries,
• cities, towns, provinces, and individual territories,
• temporary expulsions and permanent expulsions,
• persecution, forced conversion, and voluntary/forced migration,
• repeated expulsions from the same place.

The Anti-Defamation League traces the 109 figure to an antisemitic list of “109 locations,” rather than to academic historical research.

So there are two separate claims:

1. “Jews have been expelled or forcibly displaced from many places throughout history.” — Yes, this is historically well documented.
2. “Jews were kicked out of exactly 109 countries.” — No, that is not a reliable historical count.

If you'd like, I can also take the commonly circulated 109-location list and go through it item by item, showing which entries are genuine expulsions, which are cities rather than countries, and which are inaccurate.

Out of curiosity, I scrolled back on this thread. It appears that this thread got derailed on post #4600, page 154. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself. Post history is a thing.

Maybe someone here will eventually attempt to get this thread back on topic. I'm not going to bother because I know how it always goes. Been there and done that numerous times.

109 times before the Austrian Painter, they were kicked out of not just any cities and nations...
They were kicked out of CHRISTIAN cities and nations who were far more righteous than Christians are today.

It seems weird that a handful of Iranian-UK dual citizens with a few vans (without any explosives inside) would scare the US badly enough to flee across the Atlantic. There has to be more to it than just crew rotations. Look at the schedule of crew/materiel rotations to/from RAF Fairford before this and see if It adds up.

Or the US could have asked for increased security from the Brits and didn't like the response they got.
