Off Duty Cop Attempts to Arrest Man for Littering?

I did. And I am even not arguing he was right. However, he could still change his mind about the littering and arrest him just like the guy changed his mind and then went to DA. See what the argument was about. Someone was calling out that one of the cops who responded should be punished too.

Off Duty Cop Attempts to Arrest Man for Littering?

1% of everyone he talks to. Or 1% of everyone he stops? How many people do you think he stops , he knows is armed ? Now if you said, every car he stops of a traffic infraction, he makes the people get out of the car and frisks them, you might have an argument with that 1%. But for the sake of...

Off Duty Cop Attempts to Arrest Man for Littering?

Oh, now someone wants to go after the other cop. Okay . Now I am going to tell you some things that will piss you off but are true. The 911 call being faked is moot because that officer doesn’t know who called that particular call with that info yet. He also is told that it was the parents who...

Off Duty Cop Attempts to Arrest Man for Littering?

You have no idea what you are talking about. 1% ? 1% of what? The general population as a whole ? That’s like looking at the entire military personnel and declaring Afghanistan statically safe. And in the first desert storm campaign, it was statistically safer there than in the US. 148 combat...

Off Duty Cop Attempts to Arrest Man for Littering?

Being that a— hole is often a point of view. Watch this CCW person ( assuming he has one) tell his war story and ask should he face 20 years in jail. Or honestly serious jail time for his actions — it’s all in your point of view If you don’t feel for this guy, you don’t have a daughter -lol...

Anyone Know More About this Police Interaction?

That’s different if they are getting rid of that position. Then give the doctor is contracted severance pay as he walks out the door. And it’s not just union bs. It’s labor law and contract law . Not from just the unions . It’s in the At will work states as well.

Temporary Restaining Order Issued For Concealed Carry Improvement Act (merged thread)

It means if they do so, SCOTUS will completely reverse their ruling, and publicly embarrass them in their opinion, and not give the appeals court any sway or influence over the case law. Publicly told they ignored SCOTUS and the constitution. That’s a big deal for a judge and any chance for...

They aren’t going to send it back down unless they can give new instructions to the judge in how the decision is to be made—they will get bitch slapped if they do that. They are more likely to attempt to tailor the decision to keep as much stuff as they can and pass SCOTUS muster— they don’t...

A decade after the SAFE Act, gun policy polarization continues

I didn’t mention the magazine for the very reason you mention. But the rifle was illegal before the safe act therefore it’s not a pure safe act violation. Once this CCIA bs is defeated in court , the “ assault rifle” evil feature bans should be on the list to be challenged.

A decade after the SAFE Act, gun policy polarization continues

Not a pure safe act. The rifle had THREE ( pistol grip, a forward grip and a flash suspensor ) evil features as well as 30 round magazine. I believe it was illegal before the SAFE act.

They will try all of that but it will not pass muster. Civil cases are decided by juries . And when a jury sees someone who got a permit but was arrested anyway on a law that was known to be unconstitutional before it was enforced, they tend to react— liberal or not. Judges also are known to...

Temporary Restaining Order Issued For Concealed Carry Improvement Act (merged thread)

My understanding is that is still under the rifle definition as far as most of the law is concerned. If you were to transport the rifle into NYC, you wouldn’t be charged with the felony possession as you would as if you had a handgun but with some type of possession of a rifle local law.

In New York State law, firearms are often legally different than shotguns and rifles but are all handguns. The Coming Split (Republicans: Trump/No Trump)

Desantis baggage was handled better. Ask why do they hate Trump? His policies? His policies were not only right but they copied them when they came to power ( immigration, China travel ban). It’s his plain speak and that he ran as a republican.

Six US Cities most likely to be nuked first

I can definitely see it escalating to a full exchange with Russia or China but what of North Korea and Iran ? I think they could just but it on a few passenger airline jets and have them blow up as they approach the airports. How long would it take figure out who set them off. And all it would take is one or two launched and detonated at a high altitude above the US to cause major damage to the USA...

Six US Cities most likely to be nuked first

You are thinking about Russia or China. A limited exchange could be from another country who have a limited nuclear ability like North Korea and possibly Iran in a few years .
  46. T

Six US Cities most likely to be nuked first

That depends on who is doing the nuking. And how many nukes. If your country can only launch on 6 to 12 targets, what would damage the US the most? Hitting the cites or petroleum refinery areas would be my guess. Or make it EMP most of the country.
  47. T

Six US Cities most likely to be nuked first

Fallout in a limited exchange would be limited. Most of the effects would dissipate in two weeks. The long term would be horrific too but not in a span of time we usually think of . It would be like long term 9/11 effects just at more locations .
  48. T

Six US Cities most likely to be nuked first

The death toll would only be part of the problem. A fictional book Warday is one of a limited nuclear exchange. The economic damage alone would split the country as regional governments would fight ( not necessarily physically fight) for the remaining resources .

SHERIFF SCOTT JENKINS WILL DEPUTIZE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS TO HELP THEM KEEP THEIR GUNS
